**Kiara**

I shouldn’t be here,I shouldn’t be standing in the middle of this den of wolves wearing a backless crimson gown that clung to my body like a second skin, my dark hair pinned up to expose the nape of my neck, and my lips painted the color of fresh blood.

But my father had left me no choice.

“Tonight you meet him,” he’d said this morning, voice cold as steel. “Rossi Del Brenta. You will smile. You will be polite. And you will not embarrass this family.”

As if I had any power to embarrass the mighty Romano empire anymore.

I was the last bargaining chip. The only daughter. Untouched. Twenty-two years old and still a virgin in a world where innocence was the rarest and most valuable currency.

I hated it.I hated the way every man in this room looked at me like I was already claimed property. Especially *him*.

Rossi Del Brenta. The Don of the Del Brenta syndicate.

He stood across the ballroom like a king on his throne, tall, broad-shouldered, dressed in a tailored black suit that did nothing to hide the dangerous power coiled beneath. His dark hair was perfectly styled, his jaw sharp enough to cut glass, and those eyes, those piercing, ice-blue eyes, had locked onto me the second I walked in.

He hadn’t looked away once.A slow, predatory smile curved his lips as our gazes clashed,Even from this distance, I felt it like a physical touch: dark, possessive, and far too intimate.

My stomach twisted,I’d heard the rumors, everyone had.Rossi Del Brenta didn’t just take what he wanted. He *ruined* it. He broke beautiful things and kept the pieces for himself. They called him the Devil of Milan for a reason. Cold. Ruthless. Obsessive.

And tonight, my father was offering me to him on a silver platter,I turned away sharply, pretending to admire the crystal chandeliers dripping with light, but my skin prickled with awareness. I could still feel his stare burning into my back, tracing the exposed line of my spine.

A deep, cultured voice suddenly spoke right behind me, low and velvet-rough.

“Running already, *principessa*?”

I froze. His scent hit me first, dark sandalwood, expensive leather, and something dangerously masculine.

Then the heat of his body, close enough that if I leaned back even an inch, I’d be pressed against his chest.

I slowly turned.Rossi Del Brenta towered over me. Up close, he was even more devastating. The sharp angles of his face, the faint scar that sliced through one dark eyebrow, the way his full lips curved with dark amusement. A single red rose was tucked into the breast pocket of his jacket, its thorns still intact.

His eyes dropped slowly down my body, taking in every curve the crimson dress barely contained, before rising back to my face.

“You’re smaller than I imagined,” he murmured, voice dripping with sinful promise. “So delicate,so… breakable.”

My breath caught I lifted my chin, forcing steel into my voice even as my heart hammered against my ribs. “And you’re exactly as arrogant as they say, Signor Del Brenta.”

A soft, dangerous chuckle rumbled from his chest.

He stepped closer, invading my space until I had to tilt my head back to meet his gaze. One large hand rose, and with shocking gentleness, he brushed a stray lock of hair from my cheek, his knuckles grazing my skin.

“Arrogant?” His thumb traced the edge of my jaw, sending unwanted heat spiraling through my veins. “No, Kiara. I’m simply a man who knows exactly what he wants.”

His eyes darkened, the blue turning stormy.

“And what I want… is *you*.”

The words slid over me like silk and sin,I swallowed hard, fighting the traitorous warmth pooling low in my belly. This was wrong. He was wrong. A monster wearing a beautiful face.

“I’m not for sale,” I whispered, even as my body betrayed me with a shiver.

Rossi leaned in until his lips brushed the shell of my ear, his breath hot against my skin.

“Oh, but you are, little bride,” he whispered darkly. “Your father already signed the contract,my the end of this month, you’ll be my wife,my property, mine to touch, mine to taste, mine to ruin however I please.”

His hand slid down, fingers wrapping possessively around my wrist, thumb pressing against my racing pulse.

“And when I finally have you in my bed, spread open and trembling beneath me… I’m going to take my time breaking you in. Inch by slow, delicious inch.”

A soft, involuntary sound escaped my throat,he pulled back just enough to look into my eyes, satisfaction gleaming in his.

“Tell me, Kiara Romano… are you wet for me already?”

I jerked my wrist free, cheeks burning, heart thundering with equal parts fear.

“Rot in hell, Del Brenta.”

His laugh was low, rich, and utterly unrepentant.

“Oh, *cara*… I’ll see you there,on our wedding night.”

He took a single red rose from a nearby arrangement and pressed it into my trembling hand, thorns pricking my palm just enough to draw a tiny bead of blood.

“Something to remember me by,” he said softly, eyes locked on the drop of crimson on my skin.

Then he turned and walked away, leaving me standing there, flushed, furious, and terrifyingly aware of the dark obsession that had just claimed me.

I stared down at the rose, at the blood welling on my palm.

****

The rose thorns had left three tiny punctures in my palm,I pressed a silk napkin against the wounds, watching the white fabric bloom red while the ballroom orchestra played a slow, haunting waltz.

I couldn’t stop shaking,Not from fear alone, though fear was there, cold and sharp, but from the lingering heat of Rossi Del Brenta’s words against my ear.

The way his voice had wrapped around “little virgin” like a filthy promise.

The way my body had responded despite every warning screaming in my head.

“Kiara.”My father’s voice cut through the noise like a blade.

**Kiara**Lorenzo shot to his feet. “You fucking...”“Sit down,” Rossi snapped, voice lethal. “Or I’ll remove the tongue that dares speak to me that way.”Bianca laughed softly. “So possessive already. Be careful, Kiara. He’ll break you just like he broke me.”“Enough,” I whispered, my voice shaking but steady. “This is my life now,the alliance....”“Is sealed with your body,” Rossi finished for me, leaning in to press a possessive kiss to my temple right in front of everyone. “Two weeks, Kiara. Then you become my wife in every way. And anyone who tries to interfere…” His eyes swept the table, lingering on Lorenzo and Bianca. “Will learn exactly how mercilessly I kill for what’s mine.”The room fell into heavy silence.Outside, I could hear faint screams coming from the direction of the basement. The interrogation had begun.Rossi’s hand tightened on my thigh.“Welcome to your new family, *cara*.”*******The heavy silence in the dining room pressed down on me like a physical weight.

  • The Don's Bride    Jealous Boy

**Kiara**Morning light filtered through the heavy curtains of Rossi’s bedroom, casting a soft, dangerous glow over the carnage of the night before.I woke slowly, every muscle aching with a strange, heavy exhaustion, the first thing I noticed was the blood, flaked and cracked now on my skin, smeared across my breasts, my stomach, and dried between my thighs where Rossi’s fingers had worked me mercilessly, the metallic scent had faded into something darker, more intimate, mixed with the unmistakable musk of my own arousal and his.I was still naked, still trapped against his hard, powerful body.Rossi’s arm was locked around my waist like iron, his large hand possessively cupping my boobs, his thick, heavy, and already half-hard,rested against the curve of my ass,he was awake,I could feel the tension in him, the controlled hunger simmering just beneath the surface.“Buongiorno, mia moglie,” he murmured, voice rough with sleep and dark pro

**Kiara**“Liar.” He rolled me suddenly onto my back, pinning me beneath his heavy body. His ice-blue eyes gleamed in the low light filtering through the curtains, dangerous and hungry. Blood streaked his sharp jaw, his chest, even matted in the dark hair trailing down his abdomen. He looked like a demon who had crawled straight from hell. And he was beautiful, terrifyingly beautiful.Rossi braced himself on one forearm, his free hand trailing through the mess on my skin, smearing the dried crimson across my breasts, circling my hardened ns until I arched despite myself.“Look at you,” he growled softly. “My sweet, innocent Kiara… painted in death because of me. Your father offered you like a lamb to the slaughter, your little friend Lorenzo watched with jealous eyes, and enemies tried to take you from me before I could even taste you properly.”He lowered his head, dragging his tongue slowly over the swell of my breast, licking away a streak of blood. The rough texture made me shiver vi

“Please what?” I slipped one thick finger just inside her tight heat, feeling her walls clench desperately around the intrusion. She was so small, so hot, so impossibly tight. “Please stop? Or please fuck you deeper?”I pumped the finger slowly, curling it to stroke that sensitive spot inside her while my thumb continued torturing her swollen clit. Her breathing turned ragged. “I… I don’t.....”“You do.” I added a second finger, scissoring them gently to stretch her, preparing her for what was coming in two weeks. “Your body knows who it belongs to,It’s weeping for its owner.”I watched her face as I worked her, cheeks flushed, lips parted, eyes glassy with unwanted pleasure, the sight made my tool leak pre-cum into my boxers. But I wouldn’t take her fully tonight. .I wanted her desperate, obsessed, begging,I wanted her to dream of my fingers, my mouth, my tool, every night until our wedding. When her thighs started trembling and her walls fluttered around my fingers, I pulled back abruptl

I glanced back toward the ballroom where my men and her father’s were securing the area. Marco Romano was barking orders, face pale. Lorenzo stood nearby, eyes locked on Kiara in my arms with barely concealed fury and jealousy.Let him look.Let them all look.Bianca Moretti was nowhere in sight. Interesting,I tightened my grip on Kiara, one hand possessively cradling the back of her head while the other stroked down her spine.“You’re mine now, little virgin, the wedding happens in two weeks,And until then, you stay with me,In my house,Under my constant watch.”“But first… I need to find out who ordered this attack. And when I do, their entire bloodline will wish they’d never been born.”She pulled back slightly, eyes flashing with defiance even through her fear. “My family...”“Your family almost got you killed tonight,” I cut her off coldly. “From now on, your only family is me.”I pressed another hard kiss to her forehead, tasting the salt of her skin mixed with the metallic tang of

**Rossi**The first bullet whistled past my ear as I stepped back into the chaos of the ballroom,I didn’t flinch, bullets were nothing new, death was an old friend. What *did* piss me off was that someone had dared to attack while my future wife,my untouched little virgin, was standing on that terrace with her lips still swollen from my kiss and her undoubtedly dripping for me.That was unacceptable.I pulled the second gun from the holster at my lower back, both weapons already warm in my palms, the lights had been shot out; the grand chandeliers lay shattered on the marble floor, crystals crunching under my shoes like brittle bones.Screams echoed, my men were already moving, returning fire with disciplined precision,Marco Romano’s soldiers were less organized, panicked, sloppy, pathetic.I spotted the first intruder near the east entrance: masked, wearing tactical gear, carrying an AR-15,amateur,he was spraying bullets wildly, trying to hit anything that moved.I raised my right hand and
