I glanced at my watch again and back in the hallway to see if Charlotte was coming but there was no sign of her. It's been ages since she left. I tried calling her phone but sighed in defeat when I head the device ring in the clutch sitting on the table.

Getting up from my seat, I went to the direction she had disappeared to remembering she might have mentioned something about the ladies washroom. I found the ladies room without difficulty.

"Sir this is the women's room, the gent's is that way." a short woman corrected.

"I didn't ask you." I rolled my eyes pushing past her and entered "Charlotte Quan!" I yelled. "Charlotte are you in here?"

"Elio." I heard her voice call followed by someone sobbing lightly from a stall.
