Well, this sucks. We are at the lake, and I am stuck sitting here while the others head off to swim. It’s Killian’s birthday. I watch as they jump into the lake. Well, that didn’t last long. I laugh at them as they come running out of the water. It must be cold already. Usually, cold doesn’t bother us, but when you jump off the docks and into the water, the cold water is still shocking. I see Dray and Drake running toward me, making me laugh harder. I can hear them swearing, and I hand them towels as they come closer. I just shake my head at them.

“Little jewel, you have no idea how cold that fucking water is.” Dray states.

I just roll my eyes and stand up. I walk over to the water and hear Drake telling me that I can’t go in. I squat down and put my hand in the water. I hear a couple of the guys who haven’t made it out of the water saying that it is warm now. I stand back up and turn, only to wince. I forget that it pulls on my stitches when I turn too fast. I
