I have the power to walk right! The power to talk right! And the power to live right! At fifteen after ten on a raw January night, Catori sat on a deep purple comforter just outside her house watching the clear night skies. All the stars were out as usual, and she got an unobstructed view of the Milky Way. As Catori sat to watch for the meteor show, that was supposed to be happening for the next two hours, but the only thing brighter than the stars thus far was the moon. The light of the full moon beat down on Desolation, creating a vivid canvas on the snow and rocks. Her mind drifted to her friend, wondering if she was having fun with everyone else as they watch the night sky as well. Maybe if Catori wasn't so socially awkward, she would have gone, but a group of over three people just wasn't her thing. She was always over-analysing the situation, overthinking what to say, and what people would say about her. S

I must make myself available to life. Catori never thought much of the world. Though she now had reason enough in the past few days, the pressures of being a young lady were burdening her down. Never did Catori imagine it like this. All her life, she was told how to live and who to love. But today that will change. In hopes of things getting better, Catori went to the only place she thought could help her, be her refuge in a time of confusion. With a racing heart, Catori knocked on the old rusting iron door, wondering if the occupants inside were still expecting visitors. The door swung open with a creaking sound and dragged on the ground. “Needs grease,” Catori said to herself, as she stepped inside the threshold. I will continue feeling bad until my attitude improves. "Catori, can you stop messing around and help me make dinner?" Her mother called out. Catori gritted her teeth as to not say something back in front of her siblings. ''Catori!" Her mother burst into the room toward her. Catori stared back at her. "Get up. You must learn to cook. And don't you dear say you already know how to. There is never such a thing as too much." Farrah said. She threw an apron at Catori's head. Catori sighed but got up. She didn't have it in her anymore to argue with her mother, but there was one thing she wanted to say. "I just hope you don't put Kai through all this nonsense. All this can cause a mental strain on one's mind," Catori told her mother. Farrah turned to look at Catori. "you have just too much to say, and speaking of which. Kai come, today you'll learn to set the dinner table."

Trying to prove something to someone is never a valid reason for doing anything. The moment Catori's parents came back from the Capital, she left the house. Not only did she want fresh air, but she needed human interaction other than her family. Catori walked down to the old pond situated just behind the schoolyard, the usual hang-out spot for people her age. Of course, they didn't work because their parents never let them. They can't leave either and no one wanted to get married yet. Life will work for me when I realize... I Cannot breakthrough until I have a breakdown. Catori ran until she was breathless, sweaty, and her icy pants cut at the lungs. She had never run so far and fast in her life, not even when that polar bear chased after her. The small group didn't stop running until they were at the base of the mountain, all too scared to utter a word or glance behind them. Maybe from fear of the man, maybe in fear of his people or something worst. Catori glanced over at Calian. His face was blank and unreadable as he stumbled over his feet. Catori's dream...... There was no ground beneath my feet. I was clawing at the air. Falling. We both were falling. Our fingertips touch and I saw green sparks in the darkness. Then I slipped through his fingers, and all I could feel was a loss. "Come back, I try to say," but my voice never came. I watched hopelessly as dragons tear at his skin with their teeth and claws; he fought them off but his effort was feeble.
