Few days

"Can you stay here for a few days?" Lucifer requested. 

Lucas is taken aback by his sudden request. 

"It's for Lola's safety. You saw what is happening around her. I don't want to take risks with her life" Lucifer tried to convince Lucas, misunderstanding his silence as reluctance.

Lucas wants the same thing, but he wanted clarity from Lucifer.

"Are you asking me to be her bodyguard?" he asked to make sure that he understood correctly. He doesn't mind being her bodyguard, but he doesn't want to assume things. 

Lucifer doesn't exactly mean that. He wanted to keep Lucas close to his daughter, as selfish as that might look. Lucas is the only person who could protect his daughter from every threat. As a father, he wanted his daughter to be safe.
