Malik is fuming with anger. He trained her all these years to call him as husband. He wanted to hear that word from her lips to satisfy his ego. Just listening to her calling him her husband is like a salve which used to soothe his raging heart. His anger on Valmore for stealing her heart is like a thorn which refused to leave him. He knows her heart would always belong to Valmore, even though he succeeded in concurring her body.
