Trapped

In the underworld, despite searching everywhere, Valmore and Rose couldn't find Mallik.

"Damn it, he escaped" Valmore muttered with irritation.

Rose has a frown on her face and she is still looking around them for any signs of Valmore. Unconsciously she is rubbing her right-hand wrist. That is the same hand that Mallik twisted behind her back. His hold around her wrist was equally painful as the way he twisted her hand at an uneven angle.

"I think we should go back to the Palace now. It would be better if we could alert our king and queen before it's too late" she advised.

Valmore nodded his head in agreement. His gaze caught her rubbing her wrist.

"Does it hurt too much?" he asked with concern.
