Villagers

Unaware of the treacherous people backstabbing him, Lucifer shifted into the village where Belial said was some serious problem and the common people from that village are suffering. A dozen guards accompanied him, which is the usual protocol if he travels anywhere away from the palace. Slowly he made his way towards the middle of the village, where the village head resides. Lucifer intended to talk to the village head about the problems faced by the village people. But slowly he began to notice the looks of hatred and anger thrown his way by the villagers. He began to get confused by their reaction. Their usual smiles and greetings were absent, instead, they are looking at him as if he betrayed their trust.

'What is happening here? They must have surely known about my health condition in the last few weeks. Is their problem so big that they are feeling like I failed to protect them ' he wondered.

When he reached the place where the village head stays and works, he is shocked to find
