Noah's POV.
I stared at myself in the mirror, adjusting my robe as a knock sounded on my door.
"Come in." I said and the door burst open, revealing Neal, my twin brother. It was just like I was staring at myself, except that his hair was darker, wasn't braided and he looked more like a girl.
"What do you want? I am pretty sure you are not here to wish me congratulations." I told him, watching his expression tighten.
I smirked. I knew my brother.
"You are trying to steal what is mine, yet again." He glared and I paused on fixing the buttons on my robe.
"How?" I turned around to ask him.
"Oh please! Don't play dumb, we both know you felt it as I did, two days ago." Neal half-yelled and I furrowed my brows at him in confusion.
"I have no idea what you are talking about." I frowned and he let out a chuckle that would have sent shivers down any normal person's spine.
"At the Sebastian's residence." He mentioned and I froze.
It couldn't be?
"She is the one?" I whispered but was sure he caught it.
"Obviously." He huffed and I dug my nails into my palm.
"Get out." I ordered and Neal looked at me like I had lost my mind.
"I will not repeat myself." I could feel anger burning through my veins.
"Very well. I know what to do." My brother said and exited the room while I turned around and destroyed everything within my reach.
What the hell did the moongoddess want? For ages, she has been putting us against one another and when I thought it was finally over, this was happening now?
Today was my wedding with Valerie, we shall be bonded as one and finally, the curse within me shall disperse. I wouldn't let anyone stop me from having her, whether family or not.
Her family told me she was mute but I did not care, that was something that could easily be fixed. Our marriage came first.
"Alpha, it's time." My Beta, George, walked in and bowed. I nodded at him, lifting the huge crown to place on my head before walking out of my chambers.
The hall was glamorous as expected and a lot of people came to witness this glorifying day. As soon as I entered the hall, the rowdy place went silent and they all got up to respect my presence.
Most of them bowed but some didn't, like the moonshade family and Lucien Westwood, a remarkable werewolf, who was with them. I heard his fiancee, the heir to the moonshade pack has been missing ever since their wedding eve.
Rumors were that she was dead since a body that was found hadn't been identified yet and as I stared at Lucien's golden eyes, I had a feeling he had something to do with her disappearance.
But that wasn't my business. The only reason why his thought even crossed my mind was because the same cliff an unidentified body was found was the same cliff, Valerie tried to commit suicide.
It was miles away from her home so what the fuck was she doing there?
Werewolves and Lycans aren't best of friends, for years, we have all been at war with one another, but then a peace treaty was signed by our forefathers.
We each had our own territories which neither creatures must breach but the werewolves keep trying to prove stubborn. They wanted to feel the same superiority we had.
They wanted to go against the moongoddess, Our Creator's, wish. We, the Lycans, were superior over them for a reason and I could feel it, war was brewing. The second, great war would commence soon.
I knew Lucien was conspiring with the moonshade and trying to get other wolves packs to join them but due to the fear I and my brother had installed, they dared not step out of bounds but Lucien wanted to prove difficult.
And I would show him who was boss. The wolves are only allowed here for my wedding and afterwards, we shall see Drama or I hope not.
As I stepped onto the altar, the large horn was blown and the music changed into a beautiful melody, welcoming the bride and her father.
'Hmm. When did Mr. Sebastian return?' I pondered watching as he held his daughter with care, watching her with concerns in his eyes.
Valerie was his cherished child after all. I watched my bride-to-be looking around the venue with great curiosity but then something happened that piqued my interest.
As soon as her eyes fell on Lucien and co, she shuddered as if scared of something. She looked away immediately towards me and I noticed the hands holding her flowers, started trembling.
'What was going on? Does she know him personally?' I pondered but then remembered the cliff she killed herself was Lucien's property.
I stifffened, my blood turning cold.
Do not tell me it was what I was thinking. I turned to look at Lucien who was also staring at her and licking his lower lips lustfully.
'That bastard.' I clenched my hands into fists.
"Noah, please take good care of my daughter." Mr. Sebastian glared at me and I smirked. I knew he didn't like the idea of me marrying his daughter but there was nothing he could do about it.
"Sure." I opened my palm for Valerie to place her hand into but her grip on her father's arm tightened, she hesitated but finally placed her warm hands into mine.
I signalled to the priest to start as I helped her stand beside me, my hand not leaving hers.
"We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of..." The priest was saying when;
"No." I heard a familiar voice behind me and the hairs at the back of my neck stood up. Valerie sniffled the air and began trembling.
"I will not allow this marriage to happen." The voice spoke again and we all turned around simultaneously to see Neal.
"Brother, you shall not marry my mate." He growled, pointing a finger at us and I lost it.
Nadia's pov.'Weddings should be a thing of joy but mine was of revenge.' I thought to myself as I adjusted my wedding gown for the hundredth time, my heart pounding heavily against my chest.I can't believe I was getting married again, to the feared Lycan beast of all people? I guess he was better than a cheat and a murderer.'Noah wouldn't at least push me off a cliff to hide his affairs, would he?' I pondered, feeling my palms growing sweaty.'You have got this Nadia.' I tried to convince myself as I gathered up my gown and made my way towards the hall where everyone was waiting for the arrival of the bride.I told mum and Gerald to go on ahead, that I wanted to have a moment to myself. It was both a shock and surprise that Noah demanded we get married in two's days time.Mother and brother wanted to refuse but I stopped them.I took a deep breath as I stepped through the towering double doors, my heels clicking softly against the marble floor as the grand hall stretched out before

Nadia's pov.Everyone in the realm knew who the Sebastian were. They were one of the leading, richest family houses and even my house couldn't compare to their status and wealth.Their daughter, Valerie Sebastian, was known to be an introvert and weirdo whom every other young lady tended to avoid. She barely attended functions and when she did, I only caught a glimpse of her till she caused catastrophe. Rumors were that she was insane and I never believed it till I met her some minutes ago. 'What the hell was she saying though and who wouldn't avoid death after knowing their fate?' I pondered."Valerie is in no condition to see him now." Gaius said, reminding me that the Lycan twins were here, meaning my bethroted wanted to see me and probably asked why I threw myself off the cliff.Come to think of it, I don't blame Valerie for doing so. I might have done worse if I was in her shoes before I was reborn. Noah Whitmore's cruelty was no news or fairytale. He was the terrorist twin, th
Nadia's pov. This was all a dream, it had to be. The middle-aged woman went pale while I sat on the bed, trembling."It must have been the fall. Recently, you threw yourself off the great cliff because you didn't want to marry Alpha king Noah." Gaius began and I gave him my attention."It's a miracle you survived. Your body wasn't too shattered but I think you lost your voice." Gaius explained and then it hit me, everything made sense. Before that strong wind blew, I prayed to be reborn and it seems my prayer has been answered. I looked towards the mirror again and saw an entirely, different face.An innocent facial expression stared back at me. I had pure, long, white hair, rare red eyes like that of a vampire, pointed nose and cherry, red lips.I was a goddamn beauty and looked familiar, also the name I was called, Valerie, rang a bell."What are we going to do now?" The middle-aged lady yelled, her hands ruffling her neatly-styled hair.'Who was she to me?' I pondered because whene
Nadia's pov.'Where am I?' I pondered as I looked around, only to see my body shattered on rocks, lifeless. My heart pounded heavily against my chest as memories of how this happened rushed into my head."Nooooooooooo." I screamed. I was dead but why did Lucien do this to me? I was certain he was being controlled.I mean I had always suspected Malia practised dark magic, she reeked of it. I moved away from the waterfall and found myself on top of the cliff.'How did I....?' I was still wondering when I saw Malia and Lucien kissing. My heart shattered."Finally, she is dead." Malia broke the kiss and stroked Lucien's face lovingly."The moongoddess is surely on our side, we don't need to be hiding anymore." Lucien nodded and my heart got caught in my throat. What? He wasn't controlled to do what he did?"Did you even love her at all?" Malia grinned and Lucien wrinkled his nose in disgust like she was talking about dirt."Hell no. I was just forced to be with her, you know you are the o
Nadia's pov.It hasn't been a month since my mother's death, and Dad was already remarried to an heiress, old enough to be his daughter, and now on my wedding eve, I watched in awe as my fiancée thrust into her roughly."L-Lucien." I stammered, startling them. I watched as he tore away from Malia, my father's new bride, and tried advancing towards me."Nadia." He called gently, wanting to touch me, but I slapped his hand away, tears burning my eyes as I watched his expression tighten.Malia looked nonchalant as she relaxed against the bed. I turned away and ran out of the room, sniffing.'Why?' I pondered, feeling my heart tighten in pain when I felt someone grab me by the arm. I turned to see it was Lucien, clad in only pants."It's not what you think." He tried explaining but the tears just rolled down my cheeks.Lucien and I had been childhood friends since we were born, not only that, we were engaged and luckily, when I turned 18, he turned out to be my mate. After my mother's dea
