I was ready and waiting for my grandfather the next morning. I was apprehensive, but also excited. I had done my research on werewolves. There seemed to be a hierarchy system within the packs.

I had come to understand that Omega’s were the lowest ranked. And the Alpha was the highest. There were several others including Betas and Gammas. There would also be warrior wolves. It was all so interesting. I smiled at myself, I could remember the excitement from before. I was still excited. But it was for a completely different reason.

I was to turn myself into a Luna She-Wolf. From what I had read, the Luna She-Wolf ruled the pack with the Alpha. Where the Alpha would be the strongest of all the wolves, the Luna had to be the heart of the pack.

I could do this. I said to myself. I had to show my grandfather that I was old enough to look after myself. I need him to stop worrying about me.

“You look tired, my child.” Grandfather scolded me lightly.

“I had to do as much research as I could, Papi. I must know everything there is to being a werewolf. Otherwise, I would let you down.”

My eyes turned downcast, I didn’t want Papi to see the tears clinging to my lashes.

Papi gripped my chin, firm but not hurting me. He looked at me for a long time before he said, “you could never let me down, Phina. You are the only light in my life.”

In a reversal of yesterday when I had kissed the top of his head, he now did the same to me.

“Come, child. We must leave before any of the knights are aware.”

I climbed into a beautiful gilded carriage, it was led by two radiant opal horses.

Once we were all settled in the carriage, I asked why we were traveling like this.

After all, we could teleport through the different elements.

Papi said nothing for a while, I was about to ask again when he finally answered.

“Phina. We must appear to be mortals for their realm. To act any other way would raise suspicion. We are going to this other realm so you will be safe. That is why I am sending Axel and Lincoln with you. They will be your personal guard.”

I looked at Axel and Lincoln in turn. Both were hulking great men. I foresaw a problem. They have to be turned into women. I spoke up, quietly but firmly.

“Papi, I did research on werewolf pack hierarchy. I don’t think that she-wolves get bodyguards. I think I’m right in saying that the Luna would have protection from the pack as a whole.”

My grandfather thought about this for a while. Then he waved his hand almost lazily.

Although I already knew that they would be changed. I had to feign ignorance.

Where there was once an Axel and Lincoln. Now sat an Anna and Linda.

“Papi. Why have you done this? Don’t you think it’s a bit extreme?”

My grandfather waved one of his hands in a gesture I had never seen him use.

“I have not changed who they are. Fundamentally they are still your body guards. I just changed the way they look. It will make more sense in the mortal realm for you to have two hand-maidens. So that is now what they are.”

I felt the beginning of a laugh, and had to scrunch up my face to stop it coming out of me.

Axel and Lincoln stared at their reflections in the window. It was so dark outside that the surface looked more like a mirror than glass.

“I’m still the prettiest one.” The female formally known as Lincoln said.

That did it for me. I burst into raucous laughter at the craziness of it all.

The three others started laughing too.

“What a lovely sight you will all be, walking into the packhouse.”

My grandfather sounded so earnest that the three; Girls, started laughing again.

This was so absurd. It just might work.

The occupants of the carriage soon drifted off in sleep. My sleep did not come. I maybe dozed here and there. Nobody would say that was a good nights sleep.

I felt a drop in temperature, then a low rumble was heard above us. Where it had been black as night in our realm, the sun was just rising behind a beautiful snow capped mountain.

I felt my heart start to race, and my hands became clammy.

I thought he was still asleep. So when he touched my clasped hands I jumped.

“We have arrived in the other realm. It should not take us too much longer to get to the wolf pack I have chosen for you.”

Grandfather gave me a soft smile, that did nothing to hide the weariness in his eyes.

I know just how much my leaving would hurt this old man. But, leave I must. To stay safe. To be protected.

“Try to rest for this part of the journey, my child. You look exhausted. And we need to show those wolves that you are a special wolf amongst wolves.”

All I could do was nod, and lean back against the plump cushions. I closed my eyes. It only felt like five minutes, when I felt a feather light touch on the back of my hand.

My eyelids fluttered open. I expected to see my grandfather or one of my new hand maidens. But I saw none of them.

All I saw were blue eyes. His eyes. They seemed to sparkle. Then all I could see was the back of his head, as he bowed low in greeting.

“Lady Seraphina, it is an honour to finally meet you in person.”

The shame of the rumors kept me in my chambers. Until the evening of my twenty-first birthday. As soon as I came of age. The mating ceremony between Joseph and I was set in motion. As I had to act like a she-wolf back then, I had struggled at the beginning to assimilate. Not this time. No.“Your dancing is quite impressive, your highness.” He said begrudgingly. My face was turned away from his, so he did not see my smile of satisfaction.I finally turned to face him, our lips mere centimetres apart. I made a show of looking at his lips, then into his eyes. I licked my lips, and was delighted when his eyes tracked the movement.Almost at once, I could see desire cloud his eyes. Desire was never a problem for us. He had always wanted me that way. I was just too naïve to understand that having me, didn’t mean he wouldn’t have Victoria too.I came to understand why. It was all so he could get his heir. So he could steal the baby, and leave me dying in a pool of my own blood.I shook of

I could see the Alpha mind-link with someone. Soon after I noticed a tall well built man, easing his way onto the Dias. I knew him from my past life, this man was Beta to the current Alpha. His name was Dax, and I liked him immensely. The first few days of my past life, I found myself to be quite lonely. I hadn’t met Jessi yet. And was also told not to leave the pack house. So I never had the chance to visit with pack members, or make friends.Dax took it upon himself to show me around the sprawling pack house. He was pleasant. He even introduced me to his mate. Her name was Zoe. She was just as lovely as her mate. Unfortunately, due to the large number of cubs they had, Zoe was always busy at home with them. And I only saw her a handful of times more.I saw Dax whisper something to the Alpha, and watched as the latter clenched his fist. Just loud enough for me to hear, the Alpha ordered Victoria be sent to his office.I could also hear his voice lower when he asked where his son w

Shortly after Alpha Silas had explained the plan to us, Joseph arrived. Looking rather red in the face. His collar askew, a smear of makeup could also be clearly seen on his neck.I watched as the Alpha, who was clearly mind-linking with his son, scolded his behaviour. In my past life, when this had happened I had been visibly upset. Which made Joseph grin with smugness. Seeing my jealousy. This time however, I smiled serenely at the Alpha and his family. I wasn’t sure, but I thought I caught a small flicker of shock in Josephs eyes.*Good* I thought to myself. Not long after the Alpha and his family walked through the double doors, I spotted Victoria slink around the corner and attempt to sneak into the banquet. No doubt hoping to avoid the Alpha and Luna.My Grandfather also saw this. Just as Victoria tried to straighten her clothes, into some semblance of dignity, my Grandfather called out to her. Victoria froze. Like a deer in headlights. Her eyes darted here and there, probabl

“Of course.” I told her. Then settled myself on the bed. I gestured for her to continue speaking. “Your grace. I don’t know anything about dressing a lady. I work in the kitchens. Miss Victoria came to the kitchen late this afternoon. She pointed at me, then told me to report here to you. That’s why I am in your room, your grace. Nothing more than wanting to know if you require anything from the kitchen.” She finished speaking, and my internal smile got a little bit wider. I understood what was going on here. Victoria sent someone to my rooms in the hope I will look disastrous at the banquet this evening. I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. “Chloe. I believe that Miss Victoria chose you to humiliate me.” The poor girl looked like a deer in headlights. I saw her lower lip tremble. But she did not cry. Good. I needed someone strong. “Chloe. How would you like to become my personal handmaiden. I will show you the ropes myself. You will help me dress for this evenings event. Is that

The kiss was punishing. I was trying to deepen the kiss when I felt a sharp pain on my lower lip. I pulled back from her, and touched my fingers to my mouth, when I pulled them back I could see blood on them. “You bitch.” I rasped out. “Oh. You are going to pay for that.” She smiled seductively at me, and bit down softly on her bottom lip. That’s all it took. I released Victoria’s hands so I could lift her until her long legs wrapped around my waste. She could feel my erection, and started gyrating against me. “Is the big bad wolf, angry? Are you going to punish me?” The words left her mouth. Every word dripped with sexual tension. I reached between us and ripped her panties off, Victoria worked on my belt and zipper. I finally felt my cock land in her hand. She gave it a tight squeeze. “That won’t do, little wolf.” I rasped back to her. I lifted her up, then brought her down onto my aching cock. Victoria scream my name. I pumped into her, my movements almost frenzied. It didn’

  • The Elemental Wolf awakens   Chapter 7

Looking at my grandfather, I realised he knew who this girl was and what she had done. Though it was the massive blood loss that killed me in the end. I could still hear the foul words spoken. I could still feel the long silver knife pressed against my swollen stomach. I gave a small shudder, trying to push those thoughts out of my mind. If I had to re-enact everything, I was going to have to push my anger deep down. For now. The young heir spoke with the authority granted by his position in the pack. “I’m so sorry for the insolence shown by Victoria. I will make sure it never happens again. She will receive a punishment for this. I will personally see to it.” At his words, he grabbed hold of Victoria’s upper arm, and dragged her out of the room. A few whispers followed behind them. I could hear a few, and smiled wider this time. Knowing what I know? The whispers made sense. Apparently, most of the staff in the pack house knew about Joseph and Victoria. It was the hot gossip arou
