15. Jason

Jason's hand curled up into fist as he felt like punching himself on his face. He thought of himself an asshole. How dare him lie about the little child. 

The corners of his eyes turned red and he kept looking around.

"Who shot at you?" the cop asked 

"It was one of them, I don't remember which I barely got a clear sight of the shooter." Jason responded.

"And where was the child when this occured?" The cop asked again

"I locked her up in one of the pastor's office." He answered.

"So when you were shot, you didn't leave the spot for any reason Mr Jason? The cop questioned again with his brows raised.

"No I didn't, I haven't been shot before, I passed out for a while and when I woke up, the cops where there." He lied.

"Okay, that's all for now." The cop walked away and his eyes followed.
