16. Kitty

As her eyes traced the bloody footprints, Kitty's heart kept pounding fast. The thoughts that he must have gotten shot because of her made her frightened. 

"Kitty, it's Jason's blood" Mirabel cried covering her lips with her palm. 

When Silvia noticed how stunned and scared kitty were, she walked to her and wrapped her hands on her shoulder.

"Hey, I'm sure he is fine." She kept her gaze on kitty's but Kitty didn't even flinch.

She suddenly started nodding her head as she bursted into tears. The guilt in her heart had engulfed her, she fell on her knees and her hand holding her chest from falling on the ground.

"Kitty " Mirabel screamed as she bent down and tried to help her sister up.

"No Mira, you don't understand. He got shot because of me, because he tried to protect me, and here I was all this while judging him." She stood on her feet and wiped the tears from her eyes.
