When we got back to the court room, we took our seats and waited for the judge and jury to enter the room. Within a minute of our arrival, the guards brought Daya to the Defendant’s table and the Prosecutor took his seat in front of the stand. When the bailiff announced the judge’s arrival, we all stood until he was seated and he announced, “You may be seated.”He then turned to the bailiff, “Please bring in the jury.” The bailiff stepped out and returned just a couple minutes later with the jury following him.
