Chapter 53 Soliloquy: 'Even time yields to me'

Perhaps Seth would rather feel the sharp edge of the dagger piercing his heart than have to accept the fact that the lover he adored so much left him. Half of his soul was gone.

Seth was a fool for not trying to keep Edith by his side. Why would he have such great power if he couldn't even save a woman. he wanted to get rid of his helplessness.

Seth felt the emptiness shackling his heart. He never thought that this loss would hurt so much. He became lost.

Life without her left Seth empty.

Life without her love left Seth weak.

Depression managed to drown him in a sea of sadness.

Seth saw Jadden running towards him with a gasp. He was sitting stunned in his workroom when Jadden showed Seth the photos scattered on the table. Jadden pointed to one of the photos which distracted his attention. He looked at it and straightened up, "Where is this?"

"You'll never guess. She's in Alaska right now," he said excitedly.

"Where did you get this information?" Seth asked enthusiastically.
