50. She is in Trouble

I can hear Logan in the kitchen. How can I not, as it sounds like a storm passing through there?

A loud clunking sound gets me curious. I thought he was supposed to cook lunch for me and not build a house.

It sounds like something he dropped. I quickly got up from the couch and walked toward the kitchen to investigate.

I see Logan standing amidst a big mess. Rice is scattered all over the countertop and floor, and a whole chicken is lying on the ground instead of the countertop.

I can't help but let out a small chuckle as I see Logan's exasperated expression. "Looks like you've made quite a mess," I said, trying to hold back my laughter.

Logan turns to face me, looking slightly embarrassed. "Yeah...I dropped the chicken."

"And rice. Let me guess, you are attempting to make chicken and rice?"

"Yeah. Your grandma once told me it was your favorite."
