51. I Don't Need a Bodyguard

"I'm over here!"

Both Logan and I sigh in relief as we see Trisha waving her arms at us. She is sitting at a table by the window, safe and sound.

"I was so worried! What happened?" I stride over to her.

"A man wearing a black coat was following me! When I came out of the house, I saw him standing by a pole, staring at me. At first, I didn't think too much of it. But then he came up to me and started talking to me."

"Whoa," I interrupt her. "You were talking to a stranger? What did I tell you about that?"

"Yeah, but I'm not a kid anymore, so I responded to him. I didn't want to be rude!" Trisha exclaimed.

"You are sixteen, Trish. You are a kid!" I growl.

"I'm not! I'm practically an adult. And I'm seventeen, not sixteen!" Trisha screeched.

"Alright, alright, we can talk about that later." Logan quickly stops us from arguing some more. "What happened? What did the man ask you?"
