"Hey," Shirley said with a smile the moment she opened her eyes.
"Good morning to you too beautiful," Zane replied.
As usual, he woke up before her. These past few days were the best she had had so far. They were days they spent to process everything that has happened so far. She woke up every morning to see Zane already awake and staring at her lovingly. She had barely gone out since he returned, just like all those years ago when he got captured, only that this time, she spent her days laughing with him by her side.
