For Kalias, who had waited so long for his revenge, the things he felt were contradictory; the loyalty that seemed to well up in his chest and the gentle way the Goddess's eyes rested on him—but the fallen one had decided that he would not be shaken, nor would he forget his purpose.

"How will you... change what has already happened?" he asked when he met Aynur the next day. His eyes were filled with doubts, especially... if there was still a part of the human he had kidnapped, or if now, only the Goddess resided in that body.
