Knocking on Nina’s unit, I waited and waited while tapping my fingers against my upper arms. A smile never ceased on my lips since I was on the way. It felt good to find something to use against Winter. She might move continuously, but she’d return here.

The door opened, showing a 5-foot-4 female. Her black hair only reached her ears, which were in a mess. Without makeup, freckles spread on her cheeks. She looked at me with her round blue eyes in disbelief. She blinked once, twice, and then she closed and slammed the door in my face.
