Selena's POV

I took my time to have my bath in the bathroom because honestly, I was reluctant about going down there for the coronation of Raymond into becoming the new alpha when Alpha was still very alive.

I turned off the shower when I was done having my bath and washing my hair, then I walked to the mirror and stared for a long time as I watched the water that was left on my hair drip down to the floor.

I didn't want to dress up just to look good for Raymond again. I hated the fact that he was the sole reason why I was playing dress up because if I wanted to look good, I wanted to do it on my own volition and not for a man that was a psychopath and was likely going to kill everyone around him one day due to his blind anger that he couldn't control.

Sighing to myself, I took my gaze off the mirror before I took the towel that hung on the wall and I used it to dry my hair before returning to the room.
