Chapter 22

The weeks turned into months, the relationship between Nuri and Alec started to become strained. What was supposed to be a quick trip and settle his family into the cabin and return to Nuri; that trip had now turned into three months, with his mother and sister consuming his days. Alec’s mind often wondered to thoughts of Nuri, he longed for her to be in his arms, he had last heard from her two weeks ago; she had sent a letter telling him that a big surprise was awaiting him back at their home, Mount Inferno Vertex.
