Back at Mount Inferno Vertex, Nuri waited for days on end to hear back from her beloved; she often wondered if thoughts of her crossed his mind, if they made him smile… by now Nuri could shape shift between her dragon and human form; she wanted to surprise Alec with this news as well as the news of their egg that laid protected deep within the heart of Mount Inferno Vertex. Days turned into weeks and Nuri had heard nothing from Alec… the silence was becoming deafening; Nuri was so consumed in her own little fantasy bubble, that she did not realize her domain was falling apart; she did not stop to even think about what Alec might be going through with his family.
