In ancient times humans were suffering from famine and diseases, they were weak and pathetic; one human man eventually got tired of being at the mercy of the God-like dragons. Walking in the woods he stumbled upon a glowing flower… it was the only of it’s kind, he was curious and in a cloth he wrapped the strange flower, once in his cottage he boarded up the windows and began to work, he didn’t know what he was doing… simply following a voice in his head, he brewed the flower into a kind of tea and drank it carefully… he felt a strange surge of power within him. There were a few books with weird markings that could create the elements… he tried and tested the marking for fire, he lit the fireplace. That is how the first human found magic, as the years passed by he helped many of the people in his village, other villages became jealous and angry at the fact that only him and his offspring had the gift of magic and soon the hunt for all sources of magical creatures and plants began.
Eventually some humans starting dabbling in darker magic, it had the stench of death. At first the dragons accepted that the humans had found magic, but it soon started creating differences between the magical beings and mortal beings… the humans that started practicing dark magic, had developed an insatiable hunger for power… the bond between dragons and human had now become fragile, the slightest misunderstandings would threaten an outbreak of war. Many humans started to fear the dragons, while the others feared the human sorcerers. As the years turned centuries, dragons and humans found a way to settle their differences to keep the world in balance and prevent the loss of innocent lives… even then, the fear of magic and dragons lingered in the back of every human’s mind.
There was however, a young sorcerer, Alec, he lived in a village not far from the fire archdragon. He believed that humans and dragons could live in harmony once more; if only both parties were willing to listen. He did not fear the giants, he saw them as kind and gentle. The amount of respect Alec had for each of the archdragons made him look at them differently, he looked upon them with admiration. Alec a man of twenty seven years, was a powerful sorcerer and not to mention extremely handsome, with his chocolate brown hair that had waves, his hazel brown eyes and full pink lips, his lean tone built, with a height of five foot seven. He had a strong jaw with stubble, he looked rugged and sexy… every eligible woman in the village admired and swooned over him, Alec had no interest in any of the woman from his village or any of the other villages that he visited for magic council meetings… he had built a two story stone house just on the outskirts of his village. He preferred to live alone and be alone, at least when he had to deal with the humans.
The humans looked up to Alec for guidance and advice and guidance when it came to dealing with the archdragons, especially the Queen of the archdragons, Nuri… there had even been some rumors floating around that the fondness that the Queen dragon and Alec was strange. The rumors did anger Alec, but not because they were not true, but because he knew that the chemistry between him and Queen Nuri was unexplainable. Alec felt a burning desire towards here… one he had never felt with anyone ever before, but he had to put those undeniable and unexplainable feelings aside for more important and pressing matters. In the recent year, his village as well as the neighboring villages were having tremendous trouble with some of a few of the rebellious dragons from each element, setting villages ablaze, flooding crop fields, unearthing fresh sprouts letting them either dry up in the heat or get drown in the flooding, during the harvest, they would scatter the crops with fierce winds and then just cause havoc looting the farmers and the villages of their livestock and destroying their houses… but now it had gotten very out of control and a meeting with the archdragons was to be called, the rebel dragons had starting killing humans for sport. This was causing more fear and panic to arise within the humans and tensions were calling for war. Later that evening the village chief called for a meeting in the village square, Alec heard each concern and the cries for war… he stood up and calmed the crowd down, his deep voice commanding respect.
“I need you all to please calm down, war is not the answer”
“Oh yeah? And why is that” one man shouted out from amongst the villagers
“Because he has a strange liking for the queen of the beasts” another villager shouted out, but this time it was a woman’s voice, the fact that the rumors, fear and panic had made them question Alec’s guidance and advice. He was angry, the rage starting to burn in his heart,
“Do not dare judge me based on rumors that you have spread not just through this village but neighboring villages as well” Alec’s voice bellowed and the in distinct chatter came to an end. The glow of the square bonfire highlighted the rage that had set in on Alec’s tanned face.
“Alec, what can we do to put an end to this?” The village chief spoke and brought everyone’s attention back to the matter at hand. Alec took a deep breath, closed his eyes… he felt his mind drift to the beautiful archdragon Nuri, he quickly pulled himself back to reality.
“Chief, could you send word after two days for the head sorcerers and sorceresses of the neighboring villages to await word from me regarding the matter at hand” Alec spoke, the chief nodded, then spoke,
“Why in after two days?”
“By then I would have had enough time to speak with the dragon queen and the other element archdragons and we would all be able to come up with acceptable solutions”
“Consider it done lad.”
Alec stood up, “I’ll get packing then and begin my two day journey at day break” as he walked away from the village square, he could see from the corner of his eyes, the villagers staring at him, he could hear the indistinct whispers. He shook his head and was ever so grateful for having built his house just outside the village. He got into his house and started gathering his books, notes and packing some food and supplies, he took a long shower… trying to block out the fact that he was a born outcast, he laid on his bed wrapped in his towel and stared up at the ceiling. In two days he would be face to face with the most beautiful beast he had ever seen, he closed his eyes and his mind drifted back to the dragon queen Nuri, her scarlet red scaled outlined by gold, the size of her gorgeous wings that were edged with gold… her soft amber eyes gazing down at him, the sound of her voice when she spoke, the respect her very presence commanded, he was brought back to reality by the crackling of the fireplace in his room, he then realized something was actually happening to him, while lost in his thought of the majestic beast… he had developed a stiff erection, now he was just frustrated… how could a man be with a beast.
Day break came faster than Alec had expected, he woke up feeling frustrated… his erection still vaguely present, taking a cold shower he cleared his mind. Changed and grabbing his bag of supplies, he mounted his black stallion and rode off into the forest, the sun started rising it was a cool autumn day… the rust color leaves gracing the forest ground. They were deep within the forest, Alec looked at his map… the path they were on was correct; by this time tomorrow he would be nearing Queen Nuri’s , they journeyed further in and came to a dam; it was just after noon, the sky was turning to hues of pink and orange, it was truly beautiful. The night chill set in and Alec built a fire and roasted a pigeon he had just killed. His horse grazing in the field nearby. The next day they began their journey at dawn, passing a nearby village Alec stopped to allow his stallion to have some carrots and oats, while he went to a bakery nearby to get some breakfast and pack up some bread for the res
The doors opened to a living room, with a double curved grand staircase with black and gold balustrades, for a cave in a volcanic mountain it was light and spacious, not to mention the cool breeze that flowed to keep cool. Bolts of lightning in what Alec assumed was lightning proof container lit up the interior of the beautiful cave mansion, the couches were a cream leather like material, the coffee table had a glass top with gold legs… a fireplace that was lit with a low burning fire, a regal painting of a huge fire dragon hung above the mantle… it was the fire dragon that ruled before Queen Nuri; he was fierce, red with gold edged scales and black edged wings with golden tips… he was magnificent and so majestic. Alec was so enthralled by how everything was set up, he didn’t even understand why such a large beast would need human sized furniture or furniture of any kind… all the questions flowed through his mind, that he did not notice the woman that now stood on the final step of
As you now know; archdragons have no mates… for many millenniums archdragons were males, as in the human world the male species is always favored when it comes to power and carrying a legacy forward. Our dragon goddess Drakina believed that it was a time for change. When the time came for the birth of new archdragons, it was her will to move the entire universe into a new direction. Each element was given a male egg to protect and nurture, but the fire archdragons woke up to a glowing red in the hands of the goddess herself,FLASHBACK“Your Grace”The fire archdragon bowed and the goddess accepted,“Brandon, the time has come for you to have a successor”She outstretched her hands towards the archdragon of fire holding the egg for him to take, he squinted and pulled away from the
In the upcoming days Alec sent messages to the three other villages that were protected by the other element archdragons; Nuri was up in her library, she had asked Alec not to disturb her as the other element archdragons were not as open minded as her when it came to showing humans their shapeshifter abilities and so Alec abided. After sending out the letters to the other village chiefs and their head sorcerers, Alec went up to his room… laying on his bed he started thinking about his conversation with Nuri from the other night. It felt nice to know someone was willing to listen to him and maybe even accept him with all his flaw and baggage. He sat upright, but what if she didn’t… he would be heartbroken, was it worth the risk? He got off the bed and went into the hot tub and just soaked; maybe the steam and warm water would help him think better and relax. Alec got in and let the water engulf his senses, the st
Alec woke up feeling empty and tense, all through yesterday Nuri was completely aloof from him and stayed up in either her room or library, no matter how hard Alec tried Nuri avoided him like the plague, Alec started to have growing concerns, what if their picnic was nothing more than Nuri being vulnerable. He couldn’t be hurt, not again. For now he had to keep his mind clear and focused. The meeting was more important; these matters needed urgent attention, what ever was happening between him and Nuri would have to wait a while. By sunset Nuri and Alec stepped out, “You might need to stand back” was all Nuri said to Alec, He took a step back and watched as she changed, her body burst into flames, they danced and morphed into the magnificent beast, her wings spread across, her scarlet scales to perfection… he walked towards her and reached out to touch her, she hestitated but allowed it. Her scales were perfect and
After the meeting in the woods had concluded, Alluvium went straight to his house. It was a glorious mansion on top of a hill that had a beautiful view of the ocean in the distance and green forest below. Alluvium landed and changed into his human form, he was tall with huge muscles, his eyes were as green as the leaves on trees, he had medium length hair that was sand blonde, his pecks popped and abs carved. He was the man you see and instantly, clothes off, his mischievous smile would make you want to sin, those full lips that were just irresistible, but Alluvium had a temper and today he was close to blowing a fuse. As he landed one of human maids that he had employed and held captive came running to him with a glass of red merlot wine, he took a sip and casually walked past the trembling girl up to his study. He stood against the fire mantle, how dare she show up with him at the meeting… who the hell did he think he was. Nuri was once mine; he threw the wi
It was a normal day in the air kingdom, Winstrain was doing his usual flight to see that all was well in his kingdom, then something caught his heightened hearing, the sounds of a woman sobbing. He swooped down hiding in the trees and transformed into his human form, his ice blue eyes watching the woman through the thicket, she had clearly heard him. Quickly wiping away the tears and putting a brave face, this made Winstrain smile, she was adorable. “I know you’re there, show yourself” Winstrain, slowly emerged from behind the thicket, his pompadour hair neatly set, his hair as white as the clouds and olive toned skin, wearing a white shirt and black pants with laced up boots, he held his hands up. “Forgive me my lady” He bowed slowly, lifting his head slightly to see the beauty that stands before him, her soft cream skin, her gemstone green eyes, her thick strawberry blonde hair that highlig
After that magical kiss they shared a day ago, Nuri and Alec spent most of their time getting to know one another. They had enjoyed a wonderful dinner together that Alec had prepared, he could not stop thinking about how safe he felt with Nuri and in such a short space of time they had become almost inseparable. Alec had given it much thought and after careful deliberation, he had decided that he would open up to Nuri about his entire life. He escorted Nuri to the living hall and opened a bottle of her finest wines. Nuri lit a fire and they sat on the couch, Alec took a deep breath, “Nuri, I want to talk to you” Nuri leaned over and took Alec’s hand in hers and caressed the back of his hand with her thumb. “I’m listening” “I may seem carefree, but there is so much hidden be
