Chapter 24

"You look restless." I comment on Rio because I can see it in his eyes. Especially that dark circle under his eyes.

"Sir Grand. Punishment." He said in a broken voice.

"What punishment?"

"We left so as a punishment only one of us can sleep."

I was stunned. "And you didn't tell me ?!"

"You fall asleep first."

Right that was because I was so tired. Anyways there's no point on blaming myself. It's his fault too. I didn't tell him to follow me. Jeez.

I just turned my attention to the chin.

I can see upstairs the houses that are on fire. Perhaps it was the work of the dragon. Oh maybe it was the people who stole the stones. The rebels of the country. The suspicion of others.

After we went down there were some wounded. I saw a child in the middle of their district. He seems lost. He was just crying and based on my observation he was separated from his parents.

I applied it and knelt down so we could level. "Hey kid. Where are your parents?
