Mara POV
"I have forgotten to ask him about his new girlfriend" I thought aloud.
"Which him?" Emily asked.
"No him" I replied, when it drew on me that I thought aloud.. She gave me a questioning look.. Like she knows all is not well with me.
"Let's start going home," I said, easing up the tension.
We walked out of the lecture room and found our way to the gate.
