“Condition? Did I hear you say the word condition? My mother’s life is at stake, and you want to give me conditions…..for her life? Are you effing serious?”

Kayden’s expression didn’t even flinch. Cold. Unbothered.

“Do you want to save her or not?”

Alana’s breath caught in her throat. She hated him loathed every ounce of his cocky, arrogant presence but she wasn’t stupid. She knew this was his only shot to get her.

There was no time for pride. Her mother needed help now.

She sucked in a deep, shaky breath and muttered, “What is it?”

Kayden raised a brow, like he wasn’t expecting her to fold so quickly.

“What?” he said, clearly playing dumb.

“The condition you—” She stopped herself mid sentence, resisting the urge to insult him mercilessly.

Her fists clenched so tightly her nails dug into her palms. She was this close to punching him, Alpha or not.

“Oh… yeah, right,” he said with a faint smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “I’m sure it’s no secret to you. I want you. I need you. If giving you a condition is the only way to have you by my side, then so be it. I’ll pay every damn dollar. Every penny. If—” he stepped closer now, voice lower, darker “—you accept me as your mate and become my Luna.”

Alana’s stomach twisted. She looked up, locking eyes with him for a second too long. Her fingers trembled as they reached for his cheek…slow, hesitant. He leaned in slightly, breath hitching like he thought she was giving in.

“Not even in your wildest dreams,” she said, voice barely above a whisper. Then she pulled her hand away like his skin burned her.

But the truth was written all over her face.

She needed to say yes.

Even if every cell in her body screamed no, even if her pride shattered into pieces, she needed to say yes for her mother.

And she hated it.

What a pathetic choice. Her mother’s life in exchange for being bound to the one person she swore to avoid. Every girl in the realm would kill for this Luna to the most powerful Alpha around and here she was throwing it away like garbage. Until now.

“You’ve left me no choice…” he whispered.

Kayden’s eyes flickered with something satisfaction? Hunger? She couldn’t tell. She didn’t care.

“I’ve tried my best,” he said slowly. “But maybe it’s time we do it your way. If you don’t accept my offer… I’ll make the call. I’ll have the hospital discharge her. I’ll make sure no one treats her. No matter how loud she screams or how hard you beg.”

Her breath left her lungs.

“You wouldn’t dare.”

“I would,” he said, voice steady. “Remember, I’m an Alpha.”

“Yeah, yeah, I get it Alpha Pants,” she muttered, rolling her eyes with the last ounce of rebellion she had left.

But it was useless now. She was cornered. And she knew it.

Her chest rose and fell heavily as she stared at the floor, swallowing her pride whole. Then she said it the words that sealed her fate.

“Fine,” she breathed. “I’ll accept you as my mate and become your Luna.”

And just like that, her wolf howled inside her.

Joyous.

Overwhelmed.

Her body trembled with the raw emotion her animal half poured through her. Strength and heat pulsed through her veins and then drained completely.

Before she could stop herself, Kayden stepped forward and pulled her into a hug.

The moment his arms wrapped around her, she felt her knees weaken. Her body collapsed against his like she’d been holding herself up for too long. His scent ….strong, earthy, maddening ,washed over her. Her heart skipped and tripped.

Her wolf melted into the contact.

“Alana this was what I had longed for. This was what it fucking neededddddd.”

But she? She stood frozen.

“Wipe that smirk off your face before I do,” she growled against his chest, her voice muffled but sharp.

Kayden didn’t respond. Instead, he pulled out his phone and dialed. The cold efficiency in his voice returned.

“Yes. It’s Alpha Kayden. Treat the patient named Maria immediately. I’ll cover everything no expense spared. If I find out you haven’t begun the procedure or has been delayed or neglected, I’ll burn that hospital down and everyone in it. Do you understand me?”

Alana blinked.

Even though it should’ve reassured her, it only made her stomach twist tighter. This wasn’t a man he was a storm.

He hung up and turned to her. “It’s done.”

Then, without waiting for her to answer, he motioned to his men.

“Take her out of the van.”

They were gentle but firm as they helped her down, guiding her into the sleek, black SUV parked just behind them.

His personal car.

Kayden opened the passenger door himself.

Chivalry? No. Control.

The inside was spacious and cold. Black leather, tinted windows, quiet hum of power beneath them.

As the car pulled away from the alley and onto the road, Alana stared out the window. The city blurred past neon signs, hazy sunset and the occasional pedestrian stumbling out of bars. It all felt distant now. Like she was watching someone else’s life.

Her hands twisted in her lap, fingers shaking slightly.

She was going to his pack house.

She was going to be Luna.

Her breath caught.

The word Luna echoed in her head over and over again, like a sick joke. Her wolf was dancing inside her, delighted.

But Alana? She sat in silence, dread settling in her stomach like a heavy stone. Her and her wolf were very aware what this meant.

What the hell had she just done?

The room swirled with voices and disbelief as Kael’s announcement still hung heavy in the air. But the chaos had just begun.Kael Ashbourne stood tall, expression unreadable. “I met Alana before she was Luna, at that club in down town . She was dancing, I fell in love and we…we spent a night together.”Alana’s eyes widened in shock, “ Who are you? That never happened, I don’t even know you!”Kael didn’t flinch, “Its okay of you don’t remember me….I was using another name. But I’d never forget your face.” he continued, his voice clipped and composed. “It was just one night, but it only takes one.”“ You’re lying,” Alana whispered, shaking her head violently. “I don’t even know you or seen you before.”He walked towards her, “ I promised myself I’d find you, but I didn’t know where to start. Now that the word is out everywhere, when I saw your picture I recognized you.”He pulled out his phone , showcasing viral posts on the internet. The news went viral , it wasn’t even yet sunset and

Voices echoed down the hallway even before Alana sat down. “ Savanna, You’re blinded by pity,” Kayden’s father snapped. “She’s tearing this pack apart.” “And you Roland are blinded by your pride,” she fired back. “That girl is alone in a house full of wolves ready to eat her alive. You think that’s what leadership looks like? Abandoning your own when it’s convenient?” “She isn’t one of us,” he hissed. “She was never one of us. The only thing she brought here was shame.” “She brought Kayden peace,” she shot back. “Before all this, he loved her. That didn’t come from nowhere.” “Before all this,” he repeated, mocking, “she was stripping under colored lights and dancing on strange laps.” “She’s still a woman,” Kayden’s mother said, her voice quieter now, but no less fierce. “A woman carrying a child. You can raise your chin all you want, but I’m a mother. And I know, I feel it. Something’s not right about this whole pregnancy thing, Not with her.” A long silence followed. Then the

  • The Forbidden Heiress    Is This The End

Alana stepped out of the car with Zayne close by, his presence the only thing keeping her together at least. The hospital wristband still clung to her wrist like a scar she couldn’t peel off. Her body moved, but her soul, whatever was left of it, felt like it had been scraped out and tossed somewhere she’d never find it again. Her feet touched the steps of the pack house, and instantly, everything shifted. The air felt like it thickened and the silence snapped taut. The front door opened on its own, slow and creaking, like the house itself knew she was coming and wasn’t happy about it.And behold, they were all waiting for her all watching her.Every pair of eyes inside locked onto her like she was dirt that somehow got tracked into the clean house. Curious, Harsh and whispering. Their stares clung to her skin like ice, like judgment made flesh.“She really came back?” A worker muttered, not even bothering to hide the disgust.“She must miss the spotlight and still wants to play Lun

  • The Forbidden Heiress    A Divided House

Kayden slammed the front door of the pack house shut behind him. The sound echoed through the halls like a gunshot, sharp and loud. But he didn’t care. He didn’t feel calm, and he wasn’t pretending anymore. He was angry, confused and hurting in ways he didn’t have words for. As he stepped into the living room, he stopped in his tracks. Everyone was there, everyone who had heard of the tragedy, we there waiting for him. His mother stood near the fireplace, her arms crossed, looking like she’d been waiting a while. His father stood beside her, quiet but alert. House workers hovered along the walls, their eyes down, pretending not to be listening, but they were. On the couches sat Melany, Lilith, and Nyra. Their postures were relaxed but their eyes were sharp , each with intentions, all watching him and patiently waiting. They all were. The room felt too full and loud, even in its silence. “Kayden.” She moved toward him with grace, her long silver-streaked hair tied back in a lo

  • The Forbidden Heiress    What Have I Done

Alana sat alone in the room now, her heart pounding against her ribs like it was trying to escape the cage of confusion wrapped around her. The sterile scent of disinfectant lingered in the air, but inside her, everything felt... wrong. “Trixx?” she called out to her wolf, her mental voice trembling. “ What's happening?" “oh my dear Alana,” Trixx replied, her presence immediate, protective, but just as confused. “ Alana, this doesn’t make sense. None of it does. We would’ve felt it. I would’ve smelled it. Hormonal changes, body shifts….it’s impossible for us not to know.” Alana's fingers trembled as she brushed a strand of hair from her face. “ But two tests said the same thing. Blood and urine. HCG levels don’t just appear out of nowhere.” “ Unless something unnatural is happening…”Trixx said, more to herself than to Alana. “Even if there was a trace, I would’ve picked it up. You would’ve felt it in your bones, in your skin, in your dreams. But there’s been nothing. No nausea,

Kayden staggered back a step, his breath caught in his throat. Pregnant? The word echoed in his mind like a gunshot. His heart pounded, not with anger at first, but disbelief. It didn’t make sense at all. He hadn’t touched or slept with Alana before , he Couldn’t touch her yet, to top it all up he had a curse lingering over him like a shadow and wasn’t even sure it would break after being with Alana. They had never crossed that line, never even come close. And yet, here he was, staring down the barrel of an impossible truth. Then it hit him like a train wreck, his hands trembled as the images flashed of Alana and Braxton and they rushed through his head like a storm. Braxton, standing shirtless , with his hands on Alana’s waist , and she stood in between his legs wearing nothing but underwear.
