Sassy slammed the door shut and collapsed onto her bed, her fists clenched in frustration. "Why do they have to be so cruel?" she muttered to herself. "I don't understand why they can't just leave me alone. I've never done anything to them. It's not fair."
She buried her face in her pillow, trying to calm down, but the anger still burned inside her. "I'm not going to let them get the best of me," she vowed. "I'll show them that I'm stronger than they think. I won't let their words hurt me anymore."As she lay there, taking deep breaths and trying to let go of the rage, she realized that she didn't have to face this alone. "I'll talk to the matron," she decided. "she'll know what to do. Maybe she can help me figure out how to deal with Murphy and his clique once and for all."Feeling a glimmer of hope, she sat up and wiped away her tears. "I can do this," she whispered to herself. "I won't let them win."Soon, a few of the other girls noticed her absent-mindedness."Sassy, are you okay?" One of the girls asked."Yeah, I've never seen her this way." Another said.Sassy opened her eyes to look at them, and it was yellow again. One of the girls slipped in fear."Something is wrong. Matron!" The other girl called and ran out of the room.Soon, the matron came to the room to confirm what the girl had said, but Sassy's eyes were back to their normal color. The matron looked confused and turned to the girl."What did you see?""Her eyes! They were yellow! Anna saw it too." The girl said."Yellow?" Sassy asked."Don't lie Sassy." The girl said."Matron, I have no idea what she's talking about," Sassy said honestly."Have you gotten your wolf?" The matron asked."No, not until I'm eighteen," Sassy said. The matron looked even more confused."That's strange. Come with me." The matron ordered and left; with Sassy walking behind her."And the weird gets weirder." The girl called Anna remarked.************(ALPHA ROBERT'S RESIDENCE)"I made sure they were all delivered safely. All the children were so happy to receive them." Beta Leo said to the Alpha."That's great. How about the school?" Alpha Robert asked."It's also going well. Everything is in order.""Alright, thank you. And my son?" Alpha Robert asked."Murphy is also doing great sire. Apart from occasional reports about bullying, he's doing pretty well in school." Beta Leo said."Okay."Beta Leo bowed and left.Alpha Robert walked towards the window and watched as the rain splashed and splattered all over.Whenever he saw the rain, it brought back different memories he wanted to bury forever.........Someone knocked on his door."Come in." He said and walked back to his chair."Hey pops," Murphy said as he walked in."And what does that mean?" Alpha Robert asked.Murphy chuckled and sat on the couch."It's a slang for dad. Y'all so old school, you don't even know what that means.""Murphy, I've been getting reports about you bullying others in school. Is that true?"Murphy rolled his eyes."The same old story pops. I told you it isn't true.""But why do I still keep getting reports?" Alpha Murphy asked."It's not my fault they are weak. If they feel I bully them, they should try fighting back. Even if I get beaten up, my father won't let it slide, after all, he's the Alpha, right?" Murphy asked with a smirk.Alpha Robert shook his head sadly."You should stop bullying others in school especially...."".... Sassy! I know. It's always about her. The weird Blondie." Murphy said."Not just her. Others too!" Alpha Robert said."Yeah, whatever.""You'll be an Alpha soon. Stop having this nonchalant attitude towards things.""Relax pops. I'm not an Alpha yet, right? I'll be leaving now. I'm going to drop by the game store, there's a new game in town and everyone is talking about it. Isn't that crazy? Anyway, I'm going to check it out today, so I took a few bucks from you, just in case you haven't noticed it yet. Thank you pops, love you, bye." Murphy said and immediately walked out of the office.Alpha Robert only sighed and dialed the orphanage.**************(BACK AT THE ORPHANAGE )"What's going on with you?" The matron asked as soon as they got into an empty room."How do you mean, Matron?" Sassy asked."Your eyes turning yellow and all that.""I honestly don't know what they were talking about matron. I only sat quietly on my bed." Sassy explained. The matron had a suspicious look on her face."What happened at school today?"Sassy looked down, unsure about speaking or not."Speak!" The matron yelled."The...the....the Alpha's son, M..m.. Murphy. He...he...he...he..." She stammered."Can you stop stammering and speak clearly?" The matron asked."The Alpha's son hit me.""He hit you? Why didn't you tell anyone?" The matron asked looking concerned."No one cares," Sassy responded."How do you mean? You know I care about every one of you here. I love you all equally." The matron said."No, you don't. You treat the other girls better. And you call me Blondie. The other girls look down on me and you don't do anything about it."The matron looked away, guilt written all over her face."But, I'm cool with it. I already got used to it." Sassy said with a shrug. The matron moved closer to her and noticed the metallic smell of blood around."Were you hurt?" She asked."Yeah, a little. I hit my mouth after he pushed me."The matron frowned."That brat! What else did he do?""He umm...he threw my bread to the floor and stole my diary. I tried to get it back and he pushed me." Sassy explained."Alright. I know this isn't the first time, but it won't happen again. I promise.""It will happen again. Murphy is scared of nobody. " Sassy said."I promise, it won't." The matron said and Sassy gave her a fake smile."Alright, go to your room. I'd try to get your diary back."Sassy turned to go, but as she got to the door, she turned to look at the matron.Immediately the matron noticed Sassy's gaze, she tried to hide something, but Sassy had already seen it."Anything else?" The matron asked."Yes, one more thing. I want to learn how to fight." Sassy said with a straight face, ignoring what she had seen."What?" The matron asked, but there was no response as Sassy had already left the room. The matron heaved a sigh of relief, grateful Sassy didn't notice what she was doing. But did she think so?....For the following three months, Sassy devoted herself to mastering the art of self-defense. It was unclear what the matron had done, but it was evident that her efforts paid off since no one dared to bully her again. Sassy savored the newfound peace, relishing in the knowledge that while her peers still avoided her, they no longer tormented her.Even Murphy, who once derived pleasure from harassing her, began to ignore her. Though he occasionally threw a snide comment her way, he never again laid a hand on her, that is, until one fateful day...Sassy sat alone at her table in the cafeteria, observing as the new girl in her class attempted to join her peers at a nearby table, only to be humiliated and driven away. Intrigued by the scene, she was surprised when the girl made her way towards her table."Why are you sitting alone?" the girl inquired."They wouldn't let me sit with them. They said I stink," she replied with a dejected tone."Typical," Sassy scoffed. "You can sit here if yo
Sassy lay on her bed, too lazy to get up. It was her eighteenth birthday, the long-awaited eighteen. All she wanted as a birthday gift was her mate. She just wanted a new life, away from everything and everyone. She finally got up from the bed and went to brush her teeth."Finally free." She heard a voice say.She turned to see who that was, as she was alone in the room."Who was that?" She asked, but no response."Hello." She said again."Be quiet." She heard the voice say again."Who are you?" She asked."Oh dear. Look in the mirror." The voice said.Sassy looked at the mirror and her eyes were yellow again."Huh?" She said."I'm your wolf. Call me Sage." The voice said."Wolf? Do you mean I can now have my first transformation?" Sassy asked with a look of excitement."Of course. You can also locate your fated mate. I know how long you've been longing for this." Sage said."Yes! I'm an adult now!" Sassy said excitedly."Do not be so excited. You have the whole world to explore and o
Sassy couldn't sleep at night, all she could think about was her escape plan. Where would she even go?"You think too much. It's quite noisy in here." Sage said."I'm confused, Sage. Where do we go?" She asked."Anywhere. The Moon Goddess would guide you." Sage said."The Moon Goddess is never there when I need her. Why do bad things keep happening to me if she's watching? Why can't she stop them from occurring? Why always me? Just when I thought my life was going to be smooth." Sassy lamented."I told you, do not be too excited," Sage said."What do we do now?" "Good thing you asked. Kill the thought of you escaping. It's a harsh world out there. You won't survive a day." Sage said."But I can't stay here either. You heard what the Matron said." Sassy said."You will, but not for long. All you need to do now is get a job. There are a lot of places to try. You might also find our mate in one of those places." At the thought of finding her mate, Sassy's eyes lit up. "Okay, that's a
Sassy worked hard and her new boss loved her. She wasn't like how people described her. She was a good werewolf. She could also multi-task which made things easier for her boss and also made her receive tips. She watched different werewolves come and go every day and hoped one of them was her mate. Her new friend and colleague, Delight soon noticed it."You're hopeful, yeah?" She asked Sassy one day, as they were less busy."Hopeful for what?" Sassy asked and Delight laughed."Your mate. You can't wait to finally meet him. I can see it."Sassy blushed."Of course, I really do. If you lived my life, I'm sure you would understand how I feel. I just want to experience the feeling of being in love and being loved, if you know what I mean." Delight nodded."Of course, every female werewolf wants that. I do too. I'm twenty and I still haven't found my mate yet, but I'm still hopeful, just as you are." Sassy's heart skipped."You're twenty? Do I have to wait that long too?" She asked curio
Alpha Murphy rushed out of the coffee shop. He immediately got into his car and drove off. "That was our mate. Go get her." His wolf, Jack said."Anybody, but her. We can't be together." Alpha Murphy said."I want our mate." Jack protested, but Alpha Murphy ignored it and drove away.*************"Mate!" Sassy heard Sage's voice say, excitedly. "What?" She said aloud and everyone stared at her. She smiled awkwardly and walked out of the coffee shop."He's our mate. We finally found him." Sage said."Found who? What are you talking about? Murphy? No way." She said."You both already have the mate bond and he needs to mark you," Sage said."Mark who? That's not gonna happen. It can't be him." Sassy said."Is there no any other way I could..""Sassy, are you okay? You've been acting strange since the Alpha came." Delight said, behind her.Sassy turned to face Delight, with a distressed look on her face."He is my mate." She said and Delight covered her mouth with her hands."No way..
Sassy woke up a few hours later, she still looked battered and her tummy was bruised. She took off her clothes and went into the bathroom. She stared at herself in the mirror, examining her bruised and discolored tummy. "Thank you, Murphy." She muttered. She turned on the shower, and let the coolness of the water seep into her skin. After taking her bath, she dried herself up and examined her tummy again. But she noticed it wasn't healing yet."Sage, what's wrong?" She asked. As she was a werewolf, her bruises and injuries were supposed to heal up quickly, but this wasn't healing."Sage?" She called again, but there was no response.Sage was still weak and Sassy could barely feel her presence.Sassy sighed and applied an ointment on her bruise, then she went to bed.*************The next morning, Sassy went to look for the matron to tell her about what was going on, as she couldn't comprehend it at all.The moment the matron saw Sassy, she knew something was off. Sassy looked pa
Beta Hogan drove Alpha Murphy to Joy's Delight Coffee shop. The car was parked a few meters away from the shop. Alpha Murphy was trying to satisfy his wolf's demand to see their mate. His wolf was finally calm as he saw her."Okay...so are you going to speak to her?" Beta Hogan asked."I just want to see if she's doing good, and it's obvious she is." Alpha Murphy said."Well, a greeting won't hurt. Let her know you care." "That's the point, I don't care. Why the hell am I even here?" He said and rolled his eyes."Well, she's your mate, not mine." Beta Hogan said and started the car."I never said we could go." Alpha Murphy said and Beta Hogan turned off the car.********Sassy felt her wolf getting excited again. There was a lot she needed to know about her wolf because she didn't understand her excitement."What is it this time, Sage?" She asked."Mate!" Sage said.Sassy became quiet and she felt a kind of warmth around her. Her mate was nearby. She washed her hands and walked to
Sassy woke up from her sleep to the pounding pains again. She curled up on her bed and held her belly tightly. She bit her pillow, trying to prevent herself from screaming as the pain was unbearable. Her canines grew out and she tore up the pillow. She groaned loudly and jumped off the bed, still holding her belly. After a few minutes, she slumped.*********Alpha Murphy lay on his back panting and groaning in pleasure. Megan lay on top of him, looking flushed and breathless. They had just rounded up a moment of passion, but she still stared at him lustfully. She sat down on the bed and began to caress his chest."That was intense." She said."Of course. You don't get tired, do you?" Alpha Murphy asked."I'm a werewolf, so I guess my answer is no." Alpha Murphy nodded."Fair enough. Humans don't have the same strength as us, so I'll take that." He said."Oh really? How many humans have you mated with, to have come to this conclusion?" Megan asked.Alpha Murphy hesitated for a moment
