The lovers on the run

*** Felicia POV

Fear had kept my eyes closed for several seconds until I finally decided to open them. I still couldn't believe it, thinking it was all a dream. I was clinging to the back of a giant white wolf named Nathaniel, speeding through the woods that bordered the Bryansford highway, overtaking cars that were driving at high speed. With my hair blowing in the wind and my hands on Nathaniel's fur, I enjoyed the spectacle of the approaching dawn.

Suddenly, I began to feel very weak, and I felt a sharp pain in my thigh. When I looked down at my leg, I realized that the wound Karyn had inflicted on me was not insignificant. It seemed to be getting worse and worse.

"Nate, please slow down..." I said in a heavy voice.

He didn't stop and continued to run as if his life depended on it. That's when I remembered that a wolf's injury to a human could either transform them or kill them. I was in danger! He knew it, and that's why he was running so fast.

"Nate..." I was cold, I was scared.
