Chapter 12: Island

After arriving at the island they were asked to draw cards inside the box at the entrance of the hotel they will stay in. The island is huge but there’s no one living there because it has a barrier on it and no one can enter if they’re not allowed by the maker of the barrier.

Eileen was mesmerized by the view from her room, she can clearly see the sunset there. After fixing her things she took her phone. It has 10 miscalls from the old man, the one who claims to be her grandfather.

She turned her phone off, put it in the drawer beside her bed. She lay down on the bed and took a deep breath. She’s thinking about things that have happened to her since she entered highland. There’s many bad things that happened to her that she didn’t expect to experience.
