40. Kind and Gentle

"Oh no!" Jacyn exclaimed as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. There were black circles around her eyes. She couldn't sleep when she got back to her room last night. She already counted a hundred sheeps but she remained awake. Now she looked like someone had punched her. She quickly moisturized her face after she had taken a bath. Hopefully, it would help to clear her eye bags.

She looked at her watch and saw that it was fifteen minutes after six. She should get down to see if her boss was already awake. She had to be in the office at eight and she wouldn't dare to be late again.

She could smell the food that was being prepared in the kitchen. She could tell someone was frying bacon. She followed the smell and what she saw gave her the shock of her life. It was none other Young Master Lee. He was cooking breakfast. He was in a white shirt as he cooked bacon and eggs. Why would he do that? Where were the househelps?
