39. Overwhelmed

"Where am I?" Jacyn said as she looked around the room. She realized that she just fell asleep when Liam took her to this room. She was still in her office attire. She looked at her mobile phone and saw that it was already midnight. She felt famished as she didn't eat when they came home.

She decided to change her clothes. She opened the closet and saw that Liam was really telling the truth when he said that he got her clothes already. She took a quick shower and decided to go downstairs to look for something to eat or drink.

The whole house was so silent that she almost went back to her room. She tiptoed as she walked down the stairs to the kitchen. She's afraid to make noise and wake others. But she was also sure that the rooms here were all soundproof.
