Adam's POV
"I told you I will be leaving my office in 4 hours. Now you have given me work that will take 2 hours. I promised Dawn that I would meet with her at the hospital."What is wrong with people. I always keep my promises, although people don't seem to do the same. She left right after I got occupied with work, phone calls, and continuous emails. Even she had some work of her own to do.
I guess she was also lost at the moment. I wanted to take her to my mother, I want her to stay by my side, fight alongside me. I don't know if she is gonna throw me under the truck like everyone else.
I had finished hours of paperwork and right when I am done, they give me more. I assigned all the leftover work to my assistant; Ben.
