Everyone in the room was smiling and having little talks, like nothing between me, my father and Nyx ever happened.

I couldn't take part in all the talk, pretending as if nothing happened.

I continued to breastfeed Alex and Xandra. I am still hurt from finding out the truth about who my mother really is. My father looked happy though.

He should because I could guess that since I was a baby and my mother left, he has yearned for love. He married Sofia's mother, Mira, because he wanted someone who would care for me as a mother. He didn't marry her because he loved her. Unfortunately, she turned out to be a tormentor.

We weren't expecting to hear a knock. No one was supposed to find the house, talk more of knocking. The spell was to be active for three days.
