Nathan called Nyx by another name. Lily. The surprise was a shock for Nyx. She gets to meet her husband and daughter on the same day.

"Where have you been all this while Lily?" Nathan glared at her.

She said nothing. Her head bent, looking at her feet.

Nathan continued. "I thought something bad had happened to you when you never returned after the purge. I waited for you. We both waited for you. I and Freya. You left our baby without a word to me. Did you think that stupid letter you wrote would suffice or explain better about where you were leaving to?"
