HADZABAE’S POV

“Fuck it” April cursed, as his hands pressed my breasts softly, and occasionally played with my nipples.

I couldn’t help it, I didn’t stop him, I moaned softly with each press and he loved it so much.

April had snapped from the drunk and emotional mess to a seductive charmer.

He bent his head and sucked my nipples ravishingly, making me wetter than I'd ever been.

“April…” I gasped as he moved over to the second breast to give the same treatment.

He moved from my breasts, back to my neck, nuzzling a particular spot then stopped. “I’m itching to mark you right now…”

Still gasping, I found myself surrendering. “Then do it…”

“…You don’t belong to me alone” he whispered. “A Delta must never mark a mate that doesn’t belong to him alone”

But he pressed his lips onto mine and kissed me delightfully while his hand toyed with my nipple again.

“But I want to suck every corner of your body right now” he declared after the kiss and I submitted to him.

April's mouth traveled down my body slowly, torturously. He kissed every inch of my stomach, my hips, the inside of my thighs. When he reached between my legs, I gasped his name.

He looked up at me with those dark eyes, his wolf barely contained. "Beg me"

"Please...." I whimpered.

And then his mouth was on me, and I couldn't think anymore.

My thigh, then the sensitive spot between my legs...he suddenly stopped.

"I want more, Hadza" he whispered against my hair. "But not here..."

"...but..." I stopped.

He rose and pulled me out and help me adjust my dress, even though that, I wanted more! I just couldn't say it and I didn't ask before we left the the parking lot.

I woke up to meet myself in the middle of the bed in my room, all alone.

Birds chirped outside while sunlight seeped in through the opened window.

I got up, and picked the phone to check time. “12PM!. 21 Missed calls from mum and 10 from Alpha Moses!!”

My heart seized with panic, I ran my hand through my hair, as I instantly dial mum, but she wasn’t picking up.

“Pick up!!!” I cried. Missing mum’s calls, Alpha Moses’s calls, something must have happened…

Both of them were unreachable, making me panic more.

My mind flashed to what happened yesterday between July, April and I. Could it be that mum has found out or…

No. I rushed toward the door. Either July or April would know something.

As I walked through the hallway towards July’s room, my mind was calculating … what would I tell mum if it’s true that she’s found out.

I stopped before July’s door since it’s the first room after me.

I heaved prayerfully before knocking on the door steadily.

First knock, No answer and I wondered… was he masturbating again?

I shook my head immediately at that crazy thought and knocked again.

“Hello?” I heard beside me.

I stopped to see it was June, half naked, sweat covered his body, and his dressing showed he was coming from the gym.

“Oh. Hi”

His brows furrowed. “July and April left earlier today for some urgent business. Any problem?”

“Damn!!” I cursed aloud, making his frown deeper.

“Is there a problem?” June asked again.

I managed a smile. “No. No problems, I just wanted to ask…” I paused. Was June the right person to even ask if Mum or the Alpha called?

Despite my fear of my stepbrother, June and I rarely talked to each other or even meet. it was even rare to seen him talk to his brothers.

“Its’s nothing June” I quickly confessed. “I just wanted to ask if he has…” My voice was stuck again. Why did I…

“If he had what?” June pressed.

“If… if he had…had a razor” I said what came to my mouth in a rush.

June scrutinized me critically. His gaze sent me these kind of chills, that made me wonder what he would look like smiling.

“A razor?” He frowned. “Out of the blue why did you need a razor?”

Urghh!!! I wished he knew the kind of tight spot I’m in right now.

But still I couldn’t tell him, so I deepened the lie — just anything to get him off me. “A razor to shave my armpit and…and yunno”

He raised the corner of his lips slightly, almost a smile but he kept it.

“Alright fine. Come, I’ll get you one”

My heart tensed up. Follow him to his room too? What if…

He’d turned and took a step already but suddenly stopped and looked back abruptly. “Why are you smelling like that?”

Smelling? I raised my arm to catch which smell but I caught nothing. I looked up. “Smell like what?”

“You smell like July and April” he answered, his face now twisted up.

The tension automatically died down as he said this. “Oh. I was sent to pick April from the club and July… July…”

“Let’s go” he cut me off. “You don’t have to explain to me”

His attitude was very strange as well as annoying.

I went after him as his room was after my own. In the process, I kept dialing Mum but she was still unreachable and I kept my phone as soon as we got to his door.

He must really have trust issues given the way he pulled the key from his shorts pocket and unlocked the door.

As soon as I got into his room which was filled with gym equipments and sport aesthetics, he pointed to the bathroom. “I have a new razor in the toothbrush basket”

“H…Hun…” I scurried past him to the bathroom.

His bathroom wasn’t as big as mine but still took me a while to find the toothbrush basket and get the razor.

Just as I turned to exit, June was standing at door staring at me, denying my exit.

I was taken aback… “What…What happened?”

“Why are you smelling like July and April? He snapped almost in a stoic tone.

I blinked. Why was he asking the question again. “But I answered at the hallway that…”

He stepped away from the door and walked towards me. “We both know that’s a lie, dear sister”

I bit my lip. He’d caught me. But how could I tell him about the mate bond?

He reached out and grabbed the razor. “You don’t even need this so why taking it?”

Just as his skin made this little contact with mine, the casual mate bond sparked into ignition again…

“This is insane” I whispered. “Not anymore”

June also froze, his entire body going rigid. For a long moment, he just stared at the golden thread connecting us.

'Fuck' he growled. It was the first time I'd ever see him curse.

"Jun, I..."

"Don't!" He held up a hand. "Just...give me a second to process this"

He turned away, running both hands through his hair. I could see the tension in his shoulders, the way his wolf was pushing at the surface.

Finally, he turned back. "July and April are also your mates, right?"

I nervously nodded.

“This is not possible” He agreed. “But first we must find out why…”

The vibration from my phone interrupted it. I checked and it was mum.

Adrenaline rushed to my body. “Excuse me” I plead and slipped out of the bathroom to the room.

The beat of my chest felt as if a drum was placed there as I hurriedly asked. “Mum…”

“What happened to you? You aren’t picking my calls!” she screamed.

“I… I was sleeping”

I could Alpha Moses’s voice in the background. I still don’t know the reason for the calls but waited until she replied. But she was engrossed in the conversation I didn’t understand.

“Mu…Mum?”

“Oh yes….” She paused again. “Hadza let’s talk later. Our flight is ready, we’re coming back home” Then she ended the call.

My heart slammed. Coming back home?
