Jay. POV.

The whole day I was busy. I have to prepare so many deliveries for tomorrow.  All my employees are working hard so that we can complete all of orders on time. We also have to make sure that all the deliveries are according to the customers wish. We also have to make sure of the allergies and preferences otherwise our one negligence can cost someone's life and enjoyment.

And the food is the only thing which a person can neve ignore and eat with relish. We should make the food in a way so that each person day become worth remembering and it will also ultimately help our business. Even if we charge more but if the quality and taste  of our is good then people can even come from hundred of miles to taste our food. And what else do we need. We bake so that people can enjoy.

Jenny and Sam were looking after the customer. Even Peter also came early  today to help out and ofcourse I will pay them for extra hours. By 7:00 pm I made all the employees leave and there was only one cake left to decorate sk I took it upon myself. Sam and Peter left together and I hired a cab for them to leave together.

I finished up with the cake by 9:00 pm. I have already informed my parents about the akte arrival and today I will go directly to my house as I don't want to disrupt my family's meal time. They wanted to wait for me but after my pursuasion they agreed.

It was already dark so I took my helmet and amde sure that all the lights were off and doors were locked. My bike was parked in the parking area which was right across the street in front of my bakery. As I entered inside the parking lot I saw a man following a girl. The girl was trying to open her car door hurriedly and I think she might have noticed that guy stalking her so she wanted to leave. And when I saw that guy nearing her I quickly called out

"Amanda what are you doing here ?"

And walked towards her and stood in front of her and  continued

"It's been so long. When was the last time we met . I guess about two months. I need to meet uncle and aunt. So let's go together . I will take my car tomorrow. Right now I am hungry. And I know Aunty must have made delicious food at home."

The girl was shocked and was bit afraid but when she saw that creepy guy leaving in defeat. She released a sigh of relief.

The creeps like him only attack the person who they think are weak and dare not attack the strong.

When that creep left. I took few steps back so as to not scare her. As I know how difficult it is for a woman to survive in this world filled with Patriarchy, Misogyny, etc.

Then I told her

"Don't worry. I mean no harm. I just saw that man following you and thought he might harm you. That's what I said those words so to make sure whether that guy wants to do something. I guess he had bad intentions. But don't worry. Now he has left. I am sorry if I made for uncomfortable. Di you need to call the police because we can't let a pervert like him roam free as he can harm other people. "

She held my hands and said

"Yes. And thank you so much for your help. I was so scared. And I will call the police and will also I form the authorities here. Thank you again. You are a Life saviour. "

I smiled at her and said that it was my duty and she said

"There are very few people who take initiative to help like you did. You are truly a kind sould and I feel that you have helped many people like this before. I will pray to God that he keeps you away from harm and if in future I could help I will definitely help you. Thank you. "

With that the girl left and both of us didn't share our names because we want to keep it that way. I feel proud when I help people because it makes me realise that how much we can do just if we take little initiative.

After that I climbed my bike and left for my house. When I reached my home I did all my usual routine and cooked a porridge for me as I was in the mood of it to eat. I messaged my family about my arrival and that I have eaten food. Just when I was about to sleep I looked at my phone and saw a message from Elijah who was asking me out for a club night tomorrow. As I am free tomorrow so I agreed. Because Tomorrow only Jenny and Sam will look after the deliveries and for the whole day the bakery will be closed.

I am excited for the club because it is been so long that have gone to one.

  • The Gangster Boyfriend (BL)   Chapter-22

The early morning filtered through the blinds, casting stripes of pale gold across the room. Jay was the first to stir, a soft sigh escaping his lips as he snuggled deeper into the warmth beside him. He knew that it was still very early so he snuggled more into his lover. Elijah's arm was draped over him, his hand resting gently on his waist, and he felt the steady rhythm of his breathing against his back. It was a comfort he had come to know intimately, a quiet reassurance that this was real, that they were finally here, together. He shifted slightly, just enough to turn his head and look at him. His face, softened by sleep, was serene. A stray lock of dark hair had fallen across his forehead, and Jay resisted the urge to brush it back. This was their new normal—waking up in each other's arms, the world outside waiting, but for a few stolen moments, just the two of them existing in this shared peace.A tiny smile played on Jay's lips. It had been a long road, filled with unspoken fee

Peter. POV.It's been 3 months since I have seen Avery and my father Michael and truthfully these are the most comfortable days I have lived since I have been born. Now I have the whole house to myself. My father is busy appeasing his Avery and finding the dead guy who turned his Avery. Looking at him being frantic and hurt is the best scene for me. I visited the basement where my father beat me and killed my mother. Now it is spotless but the feeling of coldness is still there. I sat down on the cold floor where my mom died and laid down in the position I was when I was being beaten and saw my mother's dead body smiling and looking at me. Her face is covered with blood and eyes full black but this time I managed to hold her hands and his inside her embrace trying to feel the non existent warmth. I don't know when but I feel asleep . I got up and saw my father standing in front of me with hatred on his face. He slapped my face hard and started punching and kicking me. I curled my bo

The air in the cavernous warehouse was thick with the scent of stale beer, sweat, and something acrid that burned the back of Elijah’s throat. A single, exposed bulb hung precariously over the center of the room, illuminating a makeshift boxing ring constructed from salvaged lumber and heavy-duty ropes. The crowd, a motley collection of gamblers, thrill-seekers, and hardened locals, pressed in around the ring, their faces a blur of anticipation and shadow.Elijah stood in his corner, his trainer’s hands wrapping his knuckles with practiced speed. The tape felt like a second skin, a comforting armor against the brutality he knew was coming. His opponent, a man known only as “The Wrecking Ball,” was a hulking mass of muscle, his scarred face a testament to countless past battles. The Wrecking Ball pounded his gloves together, the sound like a drumbeat of intimidation.“Remember the plan, Eli,” his trainer, a wiry man named Leo, whispered. “Don’t get tangled up with him. He’s all power.

Peter's father Michael rushed Peter to the hospital only after his anger calmed down. He used his influence and asked his guards to burry his wife Miley's body somewhere. He removed all the traces which could lead police back to him and due to his personal of a doting father nobody questioned him. He said Peter was kidnapped and the kidnappers did this. He created evidences and witnesses which showcases as if some people who Peter bullied before has taken revenge . When Peter was rushed to the hospital in a coma, his life now suspended in a fragile, uncertain state. He was covered in blood. The doctor could see the whipping marks and old wounds on his body and it didn't look like he was the bully. Doctors knew it that Peter was a victim but after looking at Michael's broken knuckles and the bodyguards behind him they choose to stay silent just like the police who turned a blind eye to the link of Peter's obvious condition to his father. He also made others believe that his wife is mi

Peter's eyes, narrowed with a familiar bitterness, tracked Jay and Elijah across the busy schoolyard. The sun was bright, almost mocking the dark cloud that seemed to perpetually hang over him. He leaned against the brick wall, feeling the rough texture dig into his back, a faint echo of the discomfort that churned inside him.Jay, the kind boy, was a burst of easy laughter and open gestures. He moved with a natural grace, always surrounded by a small orbit of students drawn to his warmth. He genuinely cared, Peter knew that much. He'd seen Jay help a struggling freshman with a dropped armload of books, offer a forgotten lunch to a classmate, or patiently explain a difficult math problem. Jay's kindness was an unshakeable force, and it irritated Peter precisely because it was so genuine.Elijah, the silent boy, was a different kind of enigma. He rarely spoke, his presence more observed than heard. His eyes, though, held a quiet intensity, a steady gaze that seemed to miss nothing. And
