The Viper?

The thudding footsteps of the Royal army echo through the silent forest as the wolves snarl in rage and determination. 

At the lead runs, the biggest and strongest wolf of all, with his dark black fur shining under the moonlight. His claws thumping against the ground, as he follows the scent which was too prominent.

The scent of Peaches.

He was determined to catch the great Viper and her. If only he knew, it was not as easy as it looked. Half an hour passed when the scent starts fading and his wolf comes to a stop.

Analysing the surroundings.

It was near the creek. The sound of water flowing and birds chirping distinguishable.

" It stops here. There is no trace after this"

The tracker says and Mateo merely nod. Looking around. The water...they must have dipped in it to fade the scent.

" Look around. They must be here. Check each and every corner."

He orders and the wolves disintegrate. Ready to search.
