Syria’s POV

Kael quickly pulled me toward his car while chaos erupted around the church.

People were screaming, guards were scrambling, and everything behind us felt like a war battlefield.

Without saying a word, he opened the door and practically shoved me into the passenger seat. In seconds, we were speeding away, leaving his guards behind to deal with the mess.

Neither of us said anything on the ride. Not a single word.
