Syria’s POV

“Your did this to your own mother?!”

I looked over at Uncle.

He was standing there, wide awake, eyes full of something sick.

Amusement. Like he was proud. Like he enjoyed seeing me like this.

I was furious. I was out of control.

It was as if this was exactly what he wanted: my attention, my anger, my breaking point. And honestly... he got it. All of it.
