Ch 10: God of Death

Although everyone was on guard, Ausar was in a rage. He was the mighty leader of the guards of Eladrin, and the Eladrin Chief assigned him to take care of the future concubine of The Young Eladrin Chief. But here he was pushed by a puny crown prince! It was utter humiliation to his status, to the Eladrin guards.

He didn't speak a word again and simply walked to Azalias and stood face to face, stretched his head over the shoulder of Azalias, and saw the bare back of the princess who was lying in the bed. His eyes lost colors, he panicked, what he feared the most had happened. When The Eladrin Chief would know, he would skin him alive.

"You... you... you... bastard. What have you done?" Ausar pointed his finger at Azalias and staggered backward, his whole body was shaking from immense fear and uncontrollable rage toward Azalias.

"You... You bastard, I will kill you today." Ausar shook his sleeves and six golden-colored magical rings appeared around him. One ring was in front of him, two rings were beside his two sides, one was in his back, one was under his feet and the last one was above his head.

Though he knew that he was doomed, he still wanted to take the young man's severed head with him. The Eladrin Chief might show mercy and let him live. Before anybody could understand anything, he attacked Azalias.

He pushed his two hands forward with massive force. The invisible force hit Azalias, he backed a step, he frowned and wasn't expecting to be attacked so soon.

Before Azalias could think or retaliate Ausar, the two rings beside Ausar's two hands shrank and they merged into his two hands imprinting two circles on his two palms. Ausar grabbed his right hand's wrist tightly by his left hand and yelled.

"Vaikeorite" [small meteorite]

Two small meteorites came out from the thin air like bullets and rushed toward Azalias to hit him, but before those could hit Azalias, Avery came in front of him and released his five golden rings. Three rings came in front of him like shields and he yelled, "Vatnjold". [Water shield]

A water shield appeared before them. Although the water shield countered the two small meteorites, it couldn't stop those entirely. It could only slow down those two meteorites and reduced the meteorite's power a little bit.

The two small meteorites hit Avery and Azalias, they both flew away through the room and crashed into the wall.

It took a while to describe but it happened in a second.

"Ah ah ao ao ah... It's hurt. It's hurt. Ah ao..." Azalias screamed. In the past, he had often gotten hurt in his dreams, those times he hadn't feel much pain, but this time he was feeling severe pain.

Before Azalias could get up, Ausar entered the room and sent another small meteorite toward him. Azalias got very frightened, he closed his eyes and yelled loudly and prayed in his heart subconsciously.

But this time, nothing hit him, he felt some power wash away his body. Instantly, he opened his eyes and saw that Ausar flew backward and crashed into the door, the door was shattered into pieces.

The young man was dumbfounded. He looked at his surroundings and found out that a golden light shield appeared around his body, there were also seven golden rings floating around him. One was below him, one was above him, two were in front of him, two were beside him and one was behind him.

Azalias felt immense power building up inside of him, he chuckled darkly and tried to imitate the Ausar's actions. But to his misfortune nothing happened, he still couldn't use any magic. His smiling face turned into a sour face.

Ausar was getting up, so he didn't think further and rushed toward Ausar. He was an expert in martial arts, In the last five years he traveled around the whole world searching for magic, but he also learned various types of defense and attacking techniques in various countries. He learned judo, aikido, kung fu, jiu-jitsu, karate, taekwondo, boxing, etc. Although he was not good at all types of martial arts, he still could defend himself against an ultimate expert for a while.

So, he had an idea, magic was a long-range battle technique. He could close the distance for hand-to-hand combat. His plan worked, he closed the distance between him and Ausar and attacked him with full might. Ausar was not prepared for close combat. So, he was beaten down to the ground in a few moments.

While Azalias was fighting with Ausar, the other team members of Ausar were also throwing magical spells upon Azalias. But all those spells couldn't do anything to Azalias, they smashed into the light shield and were destroyed. Azalias didn't kill Ausar but had beaten him to a pulp.

Seeing Ausar's motionless body and weak breathing, Azalias stopped beating him and stood up. He clenched his fist and grinned evilly toward others. The three princes stepped aside, though they led the team here, they didn't participate in this fry.

The Elmahnean royal guards took out their swords and imprinted those magical rings surrounding them into the swords. The swords turned into a magical swords.

Azalias didn't fear the outcome, he knew that it was just a dream. If he died, he would just wake up, he might suffer a bit of consequence, but that would be worth it. Finally, he could bully the dreams which had bullied him always.

He rushed toward the guards and started to fight with them in close combat. After fighting for a while the light shield started to dissipate. Azalias beat the guards to the pulp soon and the shield didn't even dissipate half of its original power.

The three princes saw the whole scene and gulped a mouth full of air.

"Hehehe... What about you three?" Azalias turned to the three princes and grinned evilly, the three princes looked at him and shuddered from fear.

Not only the three princes, but even Avery was also shuddering. Avery was injured pretty badly from the strike of Ausar previously, he then dragged himself outside to help his master and saw his master's savage form. He then took the position in front of the three princes, they might sneak attack his master, so he faced them if they tried using any unhindered method, he would counter immediately.

Azalias thought that they were shuddering seeing his savagery side, he grinned happily, "What will happen to you now?"

But soon, he found out that they weren't looking at him, they were looking behind him. Their legs were shaking non-stop, they were sweating, their pale-faced were palling more from fear, they were so afraid that they even forgot to breathe. It seemed like they saw the god of death.
