Ch 9: Destroy it

Hearing Azalias's arrogant challenge Ausar's blood started to boil, he stepped forward again, looked at Azalias's eyes, and said furiously, "Yes. We dare. Do you dare to stop us, the eladrin royal guards?"

"Ehh!!" Azalias were stunned by this retaliation, and black lines appeared on his forehead. He thought himself, 'Is this Eladrin is more powerful than my current status? What the hell is this Eladrin? Ah, whatever, everything is fucked up now. Calm down man, Calm down.'

"Hehehe... Please calm down, your highness. We have come with a search warrant, and to be correct, it's not your room. It's Nodara's Heaven Castle's guest room which was booked in the name of a businessman called Rivery." Seeing the situation in which direction was going on, Reselor stepped in with a merry smile and shook his hand, and a paper page came into existence.

No one understood why Reselor stepped in, as everyone here knew that he was the enemy of Azalias, aka the crown prince Oron. Yet, he stepped in to reduce the building up tensions between Azalias and Ausar? Why? The other two princes frowned at seeing Reselor's action. After all, they were here to add fuel building up this conflict.

Nodara's Heaven Castle was one of the best inns in the city. Its ground floor was a restaurant, the 1st floor was a bar, the 2nd and 3rd floors were luxurious inn. The rich spoiled brats and many high-class citizens would bring girls to enjoy there at night.

The young man and his enemies were all on the 3rd floor. The corridor between the rooms was around 4 meters wide.

When Azalias saw Reselor's action, he was also startled very much like others. He screamed in his heart, 'Was that magic? Excellent. This transmigration is getting a bit better and exciting.'

Azalias grinned at his new discovery. His eyes sparkled, as he was always fond of magic. He had been searching very hard for the past five years to find out if magic was real or not, inquest to find if magic was real or not, he had dropped out of university, had lost his girlfriend, and had been suspended from his job. But he didn't give up and had sold his family wealth and had been traveling through the whole world searching for magic.

He often had dreams about magic, but those were dreams, not reality like this time. This transmigration was a bit different, as it was giving him a feeling like he was experiencing the situations in real life.

The magical paper flew to Azalias. He caught the paper and found out the search warrant letter was written in a language that he didn't see in his entire life, but surprisingly he could read what was written.

Then he realized another thing. All this time, he wasn't speaking in his mother tongue or in English. He was talking with these mythical creatures with an unknown tongue.

Azalias maintained his arrogant self facing the crowd as he grinned evilly, "So what? It's nothing to me. Whoever you are, it doesn't matter to me. My words are the absolute rules here."

To prove his arrogant statement, Azalias tried to tear off the warrant paper. But no matter how much force he used, he couldn't tear the search warrant letter. He attempted many different ways, but all were in vain. He even tried to use magic. Alas! No matter how much he yelled at his heart but no magic appeared in his hand.

Everyone was frowning and looking at him weirdly. They couldn't understand why the crown prince was acting so funny suddenly. But they still became alert and raised their guard against him.

Azalias attempted to destroy the warrant paper for a while but couldn't do anything to it. A while later, he wiped his forehead which was covered with sweat by the back of his hand, as it seemed at this point, he had totally forgotten about enemies who were standing in front of him. He touched his chin in thought, pondering how he could destroy the warrant paper, suddenly he got an idea why not give it to Avery? He might be able to destroy it.

Upon thinking about this, he returned to his sense.

"Ahem." seeing the weird expression on everyone's face, he coughed and restored to his domineering posture. he handed over the warrant paper to Avery and ordered him in an authoritative voice, "Destroy it."

"Yes, your highness." Avery was also feeling weird seeing his master's weird actions before, but he kept his calmness outward as nothing weird happened at all. He followed his master's order and burned the search warrant letter with a magic spell.

Azalias knitted his eyebrows. He dearly wanted to use magic. But he couldn't use it, yet his servant was able to.

"How did you do that?" Azalias leaned toward Avery and whispered in his ear.

"What are you talking about, your highness?" Avery frowned. He didn't understand what his master was asking about.

"Ah, I... I mean burning the search warrant paper. How did you do that?" Azalias felt smiled embarrassedly.

He was supposed to inherit the memory of his previous self and should be able to use magic. Where in those all transmigration stories all MC gets memories and powers, and he didn't.

"Oh, that! I just used the basic fire chore magic spell. Anybody can use that." Avery frowned and looked at the young man suspiciously.

"Oh, I forgot. I haven't used this type of spell for a long time. Later you have to show me the spell." Azalias noticed the change in Avery's face and lied shamelessly.

After hearing Azalias's explanation, Avery nodded his head. He convinced himself saying, his highness learned so many spells that he might forget these low-level spells. After all, he had many servants to do chore works.

On the other hand, the opposite party became more alert and raised their guard at the peak. They didn't hear what the young man and Avery were discussing. But the action destroying the warrant paper had sent them an invisible message. The crown prince was planning something very bad.
