Chapter 14 The Sword

In following hours, Joy and Sunshine were going to tour the streets and also stroll the open-air market. The streets were crowded with old people and the shops were full of wonderful magic things. One of Joy’s favorite pastimes was going to fairs and markets, but it was Sunshine’s first time visiting the market. It was much different from the markets Joy had been to in the human world as the facts that the basic needs of life were available with minimum effort for Shamans.

There was a proliferation of stores, where are trading Dan medicines, traditional herbal medicines, swords, books, charms and spells and so on. When people met on the streets, they would come to a halt and talk or go to the teahouse to have some tea. In the roadside teashops, men sat on low stools and talked over sweet tea. Sunshine and Joy stopped at a teahouse with the traditional wood carvings, artwork, lighting and flooring.
