Ulayah & Nate stood at the front door of her opened apartment door biding each other goodbye after setting up a day later in the week to go out for dinner and a movie.

After Nathan's speech to the lycan twins that stood waiting in the kitchen for her return. Jarrod had told Ulayah they needed to talk, using the most serious tone she'd heard from him so far and she figured they were both ready to let her go and be on their merry way.

She felt a bit of sadness at the thought, yet she knew it was a result of the bond that had already begain rooting itself inside. There had to be an end to this mate thing, no way in hell could she be with the very beings she detested. Even though they themselves were clearly not to blame for what had happened to her parents...they were of the same species and she couldn't handle that.
