Chapter 10 - The Frenzy.

It was barely past dawn when the letter arrived and the whole of General Wells' household was buzzing after hearing it's content.

Everyone was thrown in a state of frenzy and confusion.

Summer had been kidnapped, she was taken by bandits, Astra had managed to escape by a hair's breath and in dire need of a new handmaiden.

"Have you seen this?"

Lady Lucia rushed into her husband's study with the letter in hand.

General Wells looked up from his books and sighed. Of course he had seen the news. It had plagued him ever since he heard about it.

First of all he wondered whether or not the attack was made on his daughter or the bandits simply wanted to steal. He wondered if Summer had taken the pledge to protect his daughter a little too seriously and he wondered if it already cost her her life.

"Oh gods!!! Poor Astra! I wonder how she's feeling! We must visit her at once. With a new handmaiden too."
