Claire's POV
"You know if you keep smiling like that, Mr. Tucker is going to think you are high or something," I heard the boy say beside me.
"What," I asked, confused.
"You have been smiling all through class and the last, and unless you really love Spanish, you must be smiling for another reason," He said
"I am just in a good mood," I said
I have been happy since Gwen told me she is not with the guy I saw last night. She also told me that Stephen broke up with that Monica bitch, which made me happier. I haven't been able to stop thinking about Gwen and the Twins and don't understand why I am feeling this way about three people I don't even know.
"My name is Justin," The guy next to me said
"Claire," I replied
"I know, everyone knows. We don't normally get new students around here,"
"I can tell," I replied
The Spanish teacher gave us a study sheet to do for the rest of the class because we had a quiz on Friday. I couldn't concentrate on the sheet because I couldn't stop thinking of the twins and Gwen. I decided to do it when I got back to the house.
"So, are you liking it here so far?" Justin asked
"It's better than where I came from," I said
"Yeah, it must be tough not having your parents,"
"How do you know about my parents?" I asked confused
"Everyone around here knows about them. Your father is from here, and everyone knows him. When your father passed away, it was a big deal, and everyone was worried about you and your sister when the al... I mean Mr. Knight couldn't' find the two of you," he said
"That's crazy because he never talked about where he was from," I said
I always thought my father didn't like where he came from. Maybe he was mistreated, but it seems everyone here cared for him. It made me wonder why he left in the first place. After class, I walked with Justin to the cafeteria. He asked if I wanted to sit with his friends, and I agreed.
Gwen had asked me to sit with her and the twins, but I didn't think that was a good idea. I was already having all these weird thoughts in my head about them. I felt like I was going crazy, and the best thing to do was to stay far away from them as possible.
"Hey Justin, I see you brought us a new victim," A boy with brown hair and brown eyes said and stood from his seat. He had a masculine build and was very tall. All the guys around here were tall and had muscles. They were all very attractive but not as attractive and built as the twins. I had never seen anyone look as good as them.
I'm sure most can't tell the two of them apart, but I could immediately. While both of them were about the same height and had the same short brown hair and hazel eyes, Stephen was about an inch taller than Steven. Their smell was also different; for some reason, they both smelled better than anyone besides Gwen, who smelled like a mixture of flowers; Stephen smelled Earthy like after a rainy day, while Steven smelled like cinnamon and ginger.
"Don't try to scare her, Jake. Hello, I am Christy," A girl with Blond hair and brown eyes said. She was taller than me, around 5 ft 7, and looked athletic.
"Claire," I said
"We already know. You and your sister have become the talk of the school. The long-lost daughters of the great Beta Michael," Jake said, confusing me.
"Beta," I asked, confused.
"Don't mind Jake; he thinks he is a comedian," Christy said, giving Jake a stern look.
"I guess," I replied
"Come, beautiful green eyes, sit by me," Jake said, and I sat in the chair next to him and Christy.
I could feel someone staring at me, and I looked up to see Gwen, Stephen, and Steven looking my way. Gwen looked at me with pain in her eyes while Stephen and Steven glared at Jake. Monica came over to the table and sat next to Stephen, causing me to feel a pain in my chest, but I ignored it and looked away from them.
I ate our food and mainly talked to Christy. Jake would start flirting with me, but I shrugged it off. I could tell he was like that with everyone, and I was not interested in him in any romantic way.
"Oh, Stephen, you want to get out of here?" I heard Monica say all too loud
"Yes, let's go," Stephen said, and he and Monica stood up, holding hands
"Think about what you are doing, brother," I heard Steven say
"I did," Stephen said, and he walked out of the cafeteria with Monica causing the pain to deepen.
I ignored the feeling, knowing I had no reason to react that way. Stephen wasn't my boyfriend and could do whatever he wanted. I looked at Stephen, and Gwen looked at me with a concerned expression. I quickly turned my face away from them but could still feel their gaze on me.
I was definitely staying away from all of them.
I wanted to thank everyone for reading Claire and Jennifer's story. Their journey is over yet. We still have to figure out who the evil man is that wants to destroy the world and why. Poppy also will discover she is related to Claire and Jennifer. How will she react to that news? I will be writing Poppy and Stacy both a story soon. If you haven't already, please check out my other books, The Alpha's Flower and The Player's Love. I will be working on another book soon. Again I would like to thank all of you, and I appreciate all of your support.
Claire's POV"Did she say anything?" I asked Stephen as I walked into the Royal Pack Jail."She said she won't speak to anyone but you and Jenn," Stephen replied. Lucien was still in the cell speaking to the witch, Angelica. I felt terrible letting her trick me into believing she was trying to do the right thing when she gave me that potion to keep Jennifer's wolf at bay. Her cousin Angela told Jenn and Lucien that Angelica is evil."I will go and speak with her," I said and entered the cell."She won't speak to anyone but you and Jennifer," Lucien said as he walked over to me."I am here now, so we can talk," I replied"I want Queen Jennifer here as well," Angelica said. I didn't want my little sister to talk to Angelica because I wanted to protect her from what she had to say. I was sure whatever she had to say wasn't good. But I knew I had to let Jenn hear what she had to say. Jenn would be mad at me for treating her like a child if I didn't.I knew Lucien didn't want Jennifer to s
Jennifer's POV (One Week Later)"Are you ready to go, Little One?" Lucien asked as he walked into our bathroom. I hadn't been feeling well, but Lucien and I were going to a meeting with all the Alphas and Lunas to discuss any problems the other Packs might be having. This would be my first time going, and I was the Werewolf Queen now, and that made me nervous. "Yes, I am ready," I said after checking my hair. I had on a blue sundress with black flats. I let my hair, which had been growing, hang straight down my back. "You look beautiful, My Queen. I want to skip this meeting and tear that sexy dress off your body and stay in bed," Lucien said as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck where his mark lay. I couldn't help the moan that came out of my mouth from him kissing the mark. He knew he was turning me on."You know we can't stay home tonight, so stop teasing me," I said, and he bit lightly on my neck, causing me to moan again, and he began to smirk. "Stop it, Lucien,"
Richard's POV1"I can't believe that son of a bitch. How dare he kicks us out of the Castle. We should be the one's staying here, not him," I growled when we arrived at our room. I picked up the lamp that was sitting on the coffee table and threw it into the wall, causing it to shatter."Calm down, Richard. Everything is going to be alright," My mate Cheryl said."How do you expect me to calm down? That boy has taken everything from me. My home and my brother," I replied"I know you are upset, but you have to stay calm," Cheryl said as she wrapped her arms around me, hugging me close. I returned her hug and inhaled her sweet scent, which helped me calm down."I shouldn't have said anything about that, Lycan. I knew he was close to King Lucien, and I should have kept my mouth shut," Cheryl said. I could feel through our bond how she felt responsible for us getting kicked out of the Royal Pack."You have nothing to be sorry for. Everything you said was true. That mix breed's father rape
Jennifer's POV"You look beautiful, Little One. You ready to go?" Lucien asked. It had been two days since he had told his mom that his father's side wanted to talk to him and hopefully have a relationship with him. I was a little worried that maybe they weren't being sincere about why they wanted to speak to him. They could have reached out to Luciens years ago but only decided to once they found out Lucien met me, His Mate and the now Queen. I hoped I was being paranoid, but deep inside. I knew I wasn't"Yes, I am ready," I replied. Lucien took my hand, and we walked off our floor. We were meeting Lucien's Uncle and his Mate and kids at an Italian Restaurant on Human Territory. They had arrived last night and stayed at a hotel. Lucien wasn't comfortable with them coming to the Castle until we talked. Debra was waiting outside for us with Anthony. I knew Anthony wasn't comfortable with coming with us because he didn't have a good relationship with his mom or anyone else in the fami
Jenn's POV"I am so happy you two are back. I have missed you," Debra said as Lucien, and I entered the Castle. We had decided to come home that night because Lucien wanted to talk to her about his uncle and how he wanted to have a relationship with him. Lucien wanted to know how his Mom felt about that."We missed you too, Mom. Jennifer and I are going to head to our floor to rest, but I would like for us to have dinner in the morning. We can go to that Pancake house you like," Lucien said"That sounds good, Son. I will see you tomorrow," Debra said, and Lucien and I headed to our room. Lucien changed into some shorts, and I wore his shirt to bed. I could feel through our bond that Lucien was worried about how his Mom would feel once he talked to her about his uncle."Everything is going to be okay," I said, wrapping my arms around him as we sat on our bed. "I am worried my Mom will feel hurt that I am even considering getting to know my father's side. They were terrible to her even
