Chapter 5

AMAYA'S VIEW

I didn't feel well this morning when I woke up; I had an odd sensation in my stomach. I brushed it off and headed to the restroom.

I prayed in my head, "Oh moon goddess, make this day trouble-free for me." I then clapped hands together.

I carried my little school bag after getting dressed. It was handed to me by a pack member who was going to throw it away but kind of forgot that there was an omega who could utilize the rubbish, so I had no choice but to take it.

I made breakfast and left the pack house to go to school. When I got to school, there were quite a few pupils there; some were reading, while others were talking to one another. At times, I regretted we hadn't gone to the picnic and I wished I had turned down the chance to convince the Alpha. I wished I could socialize with my male friends, go to clubs, and sneak out of the house with my friends as everyone else does. However, in the future I will understand that it is not possible because I don't know if my mate has given up looking for me.

I consistently kept my head bowed, but I was convinced that I had missed a bunch of girls coming my way. They were the last people I ever wanted to see in person, so when I bumped into them, I gasped in horror to realize who I had run into.

How could this be happening, oh my God?

Why, Moon Goddess, do you constantly grant my requests in the other manner?

Bianca and I met despite my lack of expectation. To say she was astonished is an understatement. She gave me a startled glance before tumbling to the hard floor. She smacked her head on the floor as she abruptly collapsed. The situation is not like this, wait. Please, don't be like this.

Blood! The blood!

Before I left, I heard "Bianca!!!!!" as the last sound.

I immediately left the room and the building. I feel so lifeless. Oh why am I acting this way, am I cursed or something? I'm the last of Clifford's family and the last of his sisters. Clifford's comments kept coming back to me in my mind:

Be cautious because if she sees your face, she might pass out. Speaking, he said.

The thought came to me, "Run away."

"To where?" I questioned.

It responded, "Anywhere."You respond, "I don't think I can handle the fame, so I can't become a wanted criminal. If I go right away, I'll be alone in the wilderness with nothing. I am unable to take the risk. Even though the pack warriors use me as a training tool, I am not at all strong. When danger approaches my door, I am unable to attack or defend myself.

I sprinted straight to my house and sat down there out of terror for what was about to happen. This time, Clifford is undoubtedly letting me off the hook.

CLIFFORD'S VIEW

"These are the strategies we'll use after my phone starts ringing out of the blue.Violet was on the other end when I answered it.

Excuse me, I said as I exited the hallway.

"Hello, Violet," I grinned and replied. She wasn't tagged, but I could tell she was anxious and reluctant to tell me anything.

Tell me what it is, please. I said.

"Uh oh, Clifford," says the speaker. You're aware," she added.

The younger sister of yours... Bianca," she commented, and I commanded, feeling on the verge of irritability, "Spill it out."

Why did that happen to her?I questioned out of impatience.

She kept saying, "She fainted and blood.," but I cut her off and rushed to the packed hospital, which is where she should be.

"Where is she now?"As soon as I walked into the hospital, I virtually shouted my question.

In a *doctorly* manners, the medical said, "Alpha, you need to keep your voice calm as there are patients who need the quiet."

"She was shocked, and I noticed that her body didn't react well to shock, so she's currently unconscious," he stated.

Since she is the only person I have left and she started having issues coping with shock after the passing of my parents, I cannot lose her—not now, not ever.

And, oh, incidentally, what startled her? What transpired to her?I mustn't be more furious than I already am right now, but Amaya just made me let go of the flimsy thread of humanity that bound me to my humanity, Delia stated as I turned to face her friends. Although I may have said it in jest, I really did mean every word that day when I ordered her to keep away from her. She muttered with dread, "She met Amaya."

"Amaya is definitely saying goodbye to this world today," I mumbled as I clenched my teeth.

I said, "I'll be right back," and marched out of the medical facility.

"Amaya!!!!!!Every pack member who saw me approaching the pack house bared their neck in submission as I yelled, "She seems not to be in the pack house," in my Alpha voice.

When I got there, I knocked on the door to her flat and saw her curled up in a ball; I was so enraged that I didn't observe how her surroundings were set up.

"I warned you,

I advised you to avoid her, I said.

"Why are you so determined to rip away every individual I value from me?" I enquired, exasperated.

"My parents came first. Now.... My sister is here. Why are you trying to kill me?I screamed.

I departed to wait for her and mindlinked Enzo to bring her into the dungeons.
