Chapter 35 - Daniela

It’s crazy the amount of shit you miss when you sleep the day away. I’d like to say my sleep was peaceful. After sleeping in the backseat of a car, having a bed should have allowed me to rest without issue. The problem is this bed, the whole apartment, and the building smell of werewolves. I’m not saying werewolves smell, but well, they do.

Then add in going to bed sexually frustrated. Between Khalid’s Aunt Sarael and her guard interrupting us, he had to go and talk about his fucking ex. Seriously, who does that? That would be like me discussing past lovers casually while he’s fucking me. It’s damn rude. I suppose I should count myself lucky he’s too young to have as long of a list of exes as mine. I don’t want to hear about that twit.

So overall, my sleep was not restful to begin with. And when I did fall asleep, those stupid nightmares about Toño killing my son have now morphed into him killing Khalid. I don’t know which is worse, and that’s fucking with me.
