Chapter 2

It took a lot of time before Xia was able to control her emotions. She doesn’t want to be far from her husband. She continued to cling to him.

Ren grabbed his prepared meal and softly fed the attached kitten wrapped around his body after soothing his sweetheart.

Ren Liu noted Xia's somber stillness as well as a change in her countenance. He couldn't help but pucker his brows as he noticed her eyes glinting with tears about to fall.

He asked, in an extremely concerned voice, "Are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere? Xia, what’s wrong? Do you want to go to the hospital? I think we should have you checked, and Ran Liu’s rant was stopped by Xia’s voice.

"Liu," Xia called him by his given name and knowing she was the only one who could do so made her feel very special. Ren Liu noticed the change in the way he called his name. He was visibly stunned. He responded, "Yes."

“The breakfast was very good. It is delicious. Thank you." She looked a bit shy as she expressed her gratitude not only for the food but also for the company. She sounded really sincere in her words. She wanted to thank him not only for breakfast but also for everything he had done for her in her past life.

“You’re welcome. If you like it, I’ll make it again next time." Ren Liu's voice contained an uncontrollable giddiness. Xia praised him for the very first time, and it made his heart race and his mind fall into a dream-like state. She was very happy to receive such praise from the one she loved.

Xia was oblivious to his love because she focused her love on that ungrateful bastard. She couldn’t guarantee that she would be able to love him the way he love her. She vows not to hurt his feelings, the vow she had made to herself will always be genuine.

Xia was lying on the bed. She had vivid memories of how they had met.

She decides to create an operation: MAKE REN LIU FALL IN LOVE WITH ME SO BADLY HE CAN’T LEAVE ME.

"Ren Liu Wang, I will make your heart, body, and soul fall so deeply in love with me that no one will be able to steal you; you will be mine forever," Xia grinned as she ate the sandwich he had left for her.
