Chapter 3: Unexpected Mates .

Erica POV 💖.

"At Midnight"

"OUR IMPORTANT AND ESTEEMED GUESTS, IT IS WITH GREAT APOLOGY THAT I ANNOUNCE TO YOU THAT THE KING WHO IS ALSO THE ALPHA Of THIS PACK WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND TODAY'S PARTY AND HE SENDS HIS APOLOGY"

I heard someone announce,this made Mica's and my head shoot up in surprise.

The Alpha of the Blue moon pack is referred to as king because he has been alive for over 200 years and he has conquered every race, the humans, Lycans, vampire's, werewolves,. Well except the demons of course, the war was a draw so they made a deal.

But everyone calls him "KING"

"You see, we can escape now," I mind linked Mica.

Here in blue moon pack, slave omegas are not allowed to Join the pack link or know the happening and this is because the Alpha doesn't trust us.

Mica and I made an excuse and we hurried out of the party, the building is close to the border of the pack so it was our cue to escape.

Our stuff's were already waiting for us behind the building. We quickly took them, wrapped it on our neck, turned into our wolf form and we ran towards the forest around the building,we ran for almost an hour until we reached a clearing that indicates the border of the pack , then we shifted back and we went behind a tree to put on new clothes.

as soon as we were at the border, Mica and I hugged each other happily, but just as we were about to cross it.

Mica suddenly stopped and she started sniffing the air around us.

"what is it" I asked but she gave me no reply.

"what is it Mica?,are you okay" I asked again but no reply again but this time, she quickly turned back towards the clearing that we had just left.

and knowing Mica really well, I knew this wasn't going to be easy, Mica has the ability to hear things from afar, most wolves can do the same but her's is more special than that of the other wolves but the side effect is that she would get tired easily.

I on the other hand couldn't hear anything, I have lots of powers and abilities but the side effect of it is that I lost my wolf hearing, my hearing is more worse than that of a human.

I looked back towards where Mica was facing and my body stiffened at what I saw ,I saw a group of wolves emerging from the trees behind the clearing, they were huge and big. seeing them,I knew that even with my wolfs speed, I could not outrun them, their wolfs looked like they have been running for centuries.

I couldn't do anything but stare at the wolves who were closing in on us.

"what should we do?!"

"what should we do?!!" Mica shouted bringing me back to reality.

" I don't know! " I replied with a panicking voice.

" how did they know that we were escaping? "

" who tipped them off? "

" what is going to happen to Mica and I? " I kept asking these questions as they came closer.

soon, the wolves where right in front of us, I quickly stepped in front of Mica, I can't let the one and only person who has stood by me die, even if it means I have to die protecting her.

Mica and I inched more closer to each other until the wolves stopped leaving only few space between us, then I noticed that a wolf in his human form was with them.

he walked closer to Mica and I, every step ho took made my heart beat really fast, I knew that the wolves there could hear my heartbeat. I tried thinking of ways to get us out of the trouble we are in.

but I noticed his figure, from the way he was towering above Mica and I even from the distance between us, he looked taller than the two of us, his 6 or 6.6 feet was taller than Mica's 5.6 and my 5.4 feet,I could see his abbs even from his shirt, he had deep black hair and red eyes, but they looked sexy instead of scary.

"Rica get a hold your self, this is not the time to be checking others out, even though I find him pretty sexy but we need to get out of this first,what should we do?"joy scolded me and shouted.

the only people with red hair or red eyes in this pack of thirteen thousand wolves in total are the Alpha and his twin brother.

that was when it hit me and my eyes widened, he is either the Alpha or his brother, the beta of the pack,I hope he is the beta and not the Alpha because if he is the Alpha then we are doomed

"what should we do?" she asked again as her voice kept growing louder and louder in my head every passing minute.

"stay calm, I am thinking !" I replied her annoyingly and made sure to pass it to Mica through our mind link, I thought of the possibilities of what could happen, but I was too lost in thought to realize that the humans coming towards us had stopped.

"Mine" I heard him say, but I knew it wasn't me so I turned back to face Mica who had a shocked expression on her face that was when I realized that he was actually talking to Mica.

"Mate" Mica replied.

"did I just hear you say mate?" I asked through the mind link.

"yes!" she replied.

I turned to her and I hugged her.

"you have a Mate now, I am proud of you!" I shouted as I squealed oblivious to where or what situation we were in.

Mica has been waiting for this day for a long time, after her first Mate who was an asshole, she has been scared to have a new one, she didn't like talking about Mates and even though she didn't tell me, I knew she was afraid of getting hurt by her soulmate like her mom.

"do you know how happy I am?" Mica suddenly confessed, "I have been waiting for this day for 4 years and now I -i-i have found Mate" Mica said between sobbs and I comforted her.

" hmm hmm"Mr Mate cleared his throat to gain our attention and we both turned to face him the fear on our faces now gone.

" you still have to be punished for trying to run away from me " he said with a smirk on his handsome face.

I couldn't say anything.they led us through the large clearing and the thick forest we came from but this time, we were passing through a different direction.

we walked until we found ourselves around the pack house but we went to the other side of the pack house,I couldn't really get a view of how the pack house looked like.

"we better hurry, I wouldn't want my brother finding out that my Mate was trying to run away" Mica's Mate that I now know that his name is Angus says.

we walked towards the place that I am thinking is where we are going to sleep for tonight .

"what is your name Mate?" Angus asked looking directly at Mica as she walked.

"Mica" Mica replied with a blush.

"and you?" he asked facing me "Erica" I replied calmly.

"and what do you think you are taking those slaves away from getting punished?" a voice asked behind us.

I froze in the spot and I couldn't move, the voice sounded soothing and calm, a familiar feeling filled my body and I could feel the goosebumps that were traveling through my body.

his scent, his voice, every thing about him was nice and that was when I knew.

"Mate" joy growls in my head.

I turned around to see the most handsome and sexy Man in the world,he looked more handsome than his brother and his red hair was messy and wet as if he had just taken his bath, he was as tall as his brother and his jawline were perfectly shaped.

"oh no, not again!" Mica yelled oblivious to what was in my mind.

there was silence for a while , this gave me time to realize that the mate pull felt distant and lonely but I shrugged the felling off and decided to break the silence.

" Mate"I said as I broke the silence, the full felt stronger I knew that he could also feel it.

Mica's eyes widened in shocked "you are Mate to Allan Eugene, oh no" Mica said to me through the mind link.

" aren't you supposed to be happy that I found a mate ? " I replied faking a sad voice.

" I am happy for you but Alpha Allan is not what I wanted for you" Mica replied with a sad voice.

" relax Mica,we only heard rumors,we don't know what the truth is, maybe he is a good man but he is being misunderstood, com'on give me time and I will change him to a better person "I said to her again

" okay whatever"she replied before we stopped chatting and decided to listen to what the two brothers were saying.

" Alan one of them is my Mate and I won't allow you to touch her,I will punish her myself" Angus said with a shrug as he looked at Mica who couldn't stop blushing.

"and you can take care of your mate" he said again as he looked at my smiling face.then he grabbed Mica by the hand and left .

"will you be okay?" Mica asked through the link as her Mate dragged her away with Mild force .

"I think I can manage" I replied.

there was silence between me and my mate whose name is Allan. I didn't know what to say so I kept quiet, he led me away from the other side of the pack house to the pack house and he took me to a room, everything done in silence except the time he asked me to follow him.

"what is your name?" he asked.

"Rica" I replied.

"I want your full name Rica" he said almost impatiently.

I hesitated for a while, "what does he need our full name for" joy asked

I replied her calmly. "I have no idea"

"Rica Walker" I whispered to him.

"well Rica Walker, I do not want you as my Mate"

"ok" I replied, before I realized what he said."wait what?" my eyes widened and even my ears couldn't believe what they heard.

"did he just reject us?" joy asked angrily.
