chapter 2: let's escape

Rica POV 💖

We started moving towards a familiar building and soon we reach a wooden door and the Omegas whose names I haven't known helped me in.

It's was mid-afternoon and Mica was probably not back yet, the door was opened and I was greeted with the familiar scent of my room, vanilla mixed with rose, strawberries and blueberries, that is the mixture of mine and Mica's scent ,joy jumps happily at the thought of us in our room again it looked beautiful compared to the prison I just left, the color blue is radiantly shining from every corner of the room.

Oh what a sight!. I thought,the party is tomorrow and I had to get dressed for the big party.

The Omegas who brought me to my room helped me sit on the bed and they left me there, even though I could heal very quickly and almost all of the wounds were gone, I still felt little pain on my back.

i leaned in on the bed, my back facing up and my stomach on the bed.

"Rica, do you still want to escape?" joy asked.

"of course I do and we are escaping Tommorow" I replied calmly.

"really?" joy asked

"yes I replied"

"Tommorow,we escape then" joy shouts happily as she jumps and wag her tail.

The rest of the day was slow,all I could think of was how to escape.

"Rica" Mica whispered as she entered the room.

"Mica" I replied as she enveloped me in a hug and patted my back.

"Are you okay?, did he hurt you anywhere" she asked with worry and concern written all over her face.

"Of course he did! You stupid girl !" I replied earning a little chuckle from Mica and myself before I continued telling her everything while sobbing, and in a matter of what seemed like second or minutes,Mica had also joined me and we both sobbed the whole night.

The next day, Mica and I woke up early, of course we did, we always wake up early because of my nightmares .

"Are you okay?!" Mica asked worried.

"Yes, I am fine!"I replied trying hard to catch my breathe and stop my shaking hands.

Mica was already beside me and hugging me.

"Did you see the future again?" Mica asked removing the tears on my face .

Of course, I forgot about that, I have many powers but the ones that scares me the most is the ability to see the future and the past of myself or someone else's and the ability to kill any creature by telling them to die.

"No, that's not it, I just had a dream about what Vincent did to me"

"Oh" was all Mica said.

" Is that really how it feels when you,I paused for a while before I continued "you know,have sex? " I asked Mica looking down at my shaking hands unsure of what she would say.

"No, I have never had sex before but the books say that it is not painful but filled with pleasure, sure the first time might be painful but not to the point where you cry or feel pain"she replied as she hugged me more tightly.

We stayed silently for a while before I decided to break the silence.

"I'm going to escape!" I said bluntly as I shifted my gaze up to look at Mica's eyes but she wasn't surprised instead, she was happy.

"Really!?, We're going to escape? " She asked happily "I have been waiting for you to say those words for the past four years, what took you so long to realize that this place is horrible"she shouted happily with wide eyes, the timid and scared Mica is gone and is now replaced by an excited and adventurous Mica.

"Aren't you supposed to warn me against it?!" I asked almost quickly.

But her wolf hearing caught what I said and she replied.

"Are you kidding me?,why should I stop you?, you think I don't want to leave this hell hole too, and remember what Vincent said, he said he is going to continue with what he started once we come back from the party!"

" So, what are we going to do?"she asked curiously.

Mica is like my sister, and if anyone is to escape, that would be her, I told her every detail of how we escape.

"Ok, let's do this" she shouted happily with an evil smirk on her face.

Soon, it was nightfall, a blue and brown ball gown with heels had been sent to our room, one for me and another for Mica.

Mine was a v neck gown that hugged all my body perfectly, we only get to dress like this once in a year so I gave it my all.

Mica also wore her own and it was almost like mine except the color, we wore our heels and we left the room, once we were outside, there was a Limo driver already waiting for us.

Mica and I had decided to escape at the party, we got into the car and we were driven to the party.

At the party, I was surprised by what I saw, the building was a skyscraper, and we had to get to the ball room through the elevator.

Mica and I walked side by side down the hallway to the ballroom that I have been to for the past four years.

As we were about to go in, I realized that Mica and I were the only Omegas dressing elegantly, the rest were in normal clothes or a skirt and a top.

I realized that we were overdressed as omegas.

I inched closer to Mica trying to figure out if she has also noticed what I am noticing and from the confused look on her face and the reasuring squeeze she gave me, I knew immediately that she could also notice it.

Mica and I paused as we try to take it all in, there were more werewolves than we could imagine, and there were vampire's and Lycans.

The room was mixed with all kinds of scent and smell. Every one were dressed elegantly and beautifully.

"What the hell is going on here?" Mica shout-whispered into my ear.

I replied her by shaking my head to indicate that I don't know,we walked more futher till we noticed that the Omegas were all packed up at the very corner of the room where they had a very large table with food and lots of Stuff's.

"I'm scared" Mica whispered shakingly to my ears.

"What is it that scares you so much?"I replied confused

"What if someone finds out what we are, I mean there are lots of ancient creatures here!, What if the necklace can't hide our scent? " Mica Said in the mind link in order to prevent any vampire or werewolf from listening in on us.

Ok, quick flashback, Because of our powers and abilities, when Mica and I were five years old we were given a necklace that can hide our scents and control our powers, mine is blue, while Mica's is brown.

I touched the necklace on my neck and I squeezed it, that is what I do every time I am anxious or scared.

"No, we will be fine, the necklace will protect us! " I replied with a smile on my face.

Mica and I might be the same age but sometimes, she is like a baby who needs to be pampered and taken care of.

"Let's go!" I whispered as I intertwined my hands with Mica's.

Mica and I walked towards them and we started talking with the few omegas who were from our pack.

Mica and I decided to stick along for a while before we escape.
